Crunch Fitness - Withdraws that were taken from my bank account when it was supposed to be frozen.

In April 2023 I injured my knee while working with my trainer at Crunch. Per an MRI I was told that I had torn my meniscus. Not long afterwards it was determined that I would need to have a total knee replacement and would not be able to drive either. In the beginning of May I contacted my trainer and asked him to but a hold on my membership and trainer services. He texted me back a couple of days later stating that it had been taken care of. Recently I saw that withdraws were continuing to come out of my account all along. I contacted my trainer, and he again said it was taken care of and had notified Sam the PTM so that it was taken care of. It was not and still has not been canceled.

I have closed that account so no more withdraws can be taken out by Crunch. Per my bank statements $1,154.67 has wrongly been taken and needs to be reimbursed to me via a check. Currently I am still unable to go to the gym after my TKR, since I cannot drive. I have bank statements, medical records and copies of my contact with staff and my Crunch in Clearwater, Florida.

I sent this information to my Crunch yesterday and have not heard back from anyone. Hopefully I hear from someone at this office soon.

Same occurrence with me.

I’m having serious issues with Crunch Fitness in Georgia.

I canceled my contract with both the gym and personal trainer as required. The personal trainer contract expired 6-weeks when I cancelled my contract.

I had informed the fitness center that I was going out of the country prior to signing any contract. I was charged anyway for the two weeks I was gone and the two weeks I was sick after returning to the U.S.A.

I was told that I would receive credit for the money I was charged on my credit card, which Crunch fitness owes me $416.00. I never received the refund or received services for which I was charged.

One day after visiting Crunch Fitness, my credit card became missing. I quickly reported the lost/stolen credit card to my financial institution. Regardless that the credit card was cancelled, Crush Fitness has been denied those charges with my report stolen credit card that range anywhere from 3 to 4 times a week. This has been occurring for four months now with charges ranging from $208.00, $96.00 or $64.32 on a weekly basis. As I said previously, this is being done anywhere from 3 to 4 times weekly.

Additionally, I have not had any contact or communication with Crunch Fitness such as an email, calls, or letter.

Furthermore, Crunch Fitness was given a hand written notice of cancellation two weeks after I originally signed up. The Gym manager ignored my first request to cancel and apparently failed to initiate the cancellation. I kept getting a statement saying I would get a credit to use the gym and any explanation to keep gaslighting me.

How can I use my credit when my gym check in card was handed in and the app kept showing a pop up that the app no longer available/no membership exists?

Did you get resolution? They doing the same thing to me over 2,000 in pre paid sessions. Which I thought I canceled…
