Friday evening my girlfriend and I went to the local Ruby Tuesdays before going to the movies as we often do. We each ordered the steak and lobster meal. Hers was the Asiago peppercorn (medium), grilled brussel sprouts, and something else. I ordered the sirloin(medium), grilled sprouts, and a loaded baked potato. After a ridiculously long wait when we did finally get our food, it was garbage. Both of our steaks were tiny, and cremated to the consistency of boot leather. The lobster tails were quite minuscule, and the "loaded " potato was luke warm, and not loaded. the few shreds of cheese of barely melted cheese were just enough to add insult to injury. I asked our waitress to please bring me butter, and sour cream for the potato, and melted butter for our tails. This never did come our way. What did come was the check. Because of the hurry that we were in, and just trying to leave with a smile on our faces, I just paid it. We visit that restaurant often, and have both noticed that the food is NOT where it used to be. I am very disappointed. I really hope that they once again care about the quality of the food, and the customer like they used to.
Ruby Tuesday - bad service and attitude
Let me start by saying my husband has previously eaten at Ruby Tuesday twice and had no problems. But about 5 weeks ago we were on our way to Orlando, Fla from Alabama and we stopped in Gainesville at a mall to walk around. The Ruby Tuesday at the mall was not busy, it was around 8pm, the hostess sat us down then we didn't see our waiter for over 5 min. Now I have waitressed for 16 years so I do tend to be picky but I also can be more understanding when someone is busy. But anyway he finally came over and was all attitude, sighing when my husband ask what kind of beers they had on tap, telling him he could not have a certain beer in a large glass. Then we ordered burgers and 38 min later after no refills on our drinks no sign of our server or anyone elses, we received our overcooked and cold burgers and fries then he sighed again when my husband asked for a refill. I wanted to complain then but my husband is the quiet non-complaining type so we paid the bill, left no tip and I said I was never going to Ruby's again well.. 2 weeks ago we went to Oak Mntn. St Park in northern Alabama and stopped in just outside of the park at a Ruby's, my husband thought I should give them another chance. Now our waiter was very nice but the food was bad and the menu had about 8 beers listed that I guess cannot be served in Alabama. So why do they have them on the menu? I was so sick of saying a name and the waiter saying "We can't carry that" that after the third try I just asked him what do you carry?! Ok, then yesterday(Father's day) we were coming home from Biloxi and my husband wanted to eat at aRuby's in Saraland, AL where he has had good food before. I did not want to but it was dad's day so in we go. We stood at the door behind 7 other people and I could see into the bar where there were 2 tables with people and about 5 waiters standing around towards the back with about 3 waitress. There was no hostess and after 8 min.(I timed it)a waitress came over and asked us all including the 6 people now behind us if we had been waited on? She went and got the hostess from the back and we were finally seated. There were 6 other tables in the dining room so they were not busy I could still see a bunch of the help screwing around in the back. Over 5 minutes later the hostess came over and said she was not our server but she would get our drinks, this was said with no smile. My husband ordered a beer of course no thanks to the hostess who didn't know what they served and rolled her eyes when asked, and he ordered a martini because him and I were going to share it, I had never had one and I don't normally drink. I also ordered a ice tea. Minutes later the bartender came to our table and informed us that we could not order TWO ALCOHOLIC drinks at one table, WHAT? My husband said fine but I was extremely upset and wanted to leave right then. We waited(I actually timed it on my watch)11 minutes and still had not seen a server or our drinks so finally we walked out. BAD SERVICE, BAD ATTITUDES, HORRIBLE FATHER'S DAY EXPIERENCE! That was the very last straw and I will NEVER step foot in any Ruby Tuesdays' again.
On another note we went to O'charleys and it was wonderful all the way around.

I was at your Thomasville NC restaurant and was served by Lawanna. I must say she was very attentive, knew the dishes well, and made me laugh.
This is what a person in this field should be like with every customer.
Thank you Lawanna 😊
I ordered a Togo on Wednesday the day of the BOGO I got the 4 way sampler everything was over cooked and burnt except the loaded tots my husband had the colossal burger it was plain no season and under cooked I appreciate the coupon but the food quality needs more attention

We chose your restraunt to conduct our birthday dinner for my daughter and the experience was horrible. It was the worst experience for a birthday dineer i ever had. The food was horrible and the service was not great at all. Will not come here again. I will go to the other one in town.
On 01/26/19 my family went to our local Ruby Tuesday. We had a party of 10 with 3 separate tickets . We all paid the tickets given us, I thought mine seemed a bit high for 3 adult meals and 3 non alcohol drinks. looked at my bill at home and was charged for 2 ($5.00) alcohol drinks that I did order. it took a long time for our food no pork chop

I am a bartender and just so you do know, in many states you can not serve one person 2 alcoholic drinks at one time. Your server probably thought your husband was ordering both for himself. Even sharing the martini while drinking a beer could result in a hefty fine for the server, bartender, and company itself if the Liquor Control Board was around. So actually, the bartender acted correctly in refusing to serve both beverages. Y0u would think that, you, being in the service industry yourself in the past would not be so quick to judge others. Everyone has bad days, were they are not themselves and have a hard time being as peppy and friendly as they should be. Cut them some slack. You dont know what kind of day that person just had. Leaving no tip is plain rude, I dont care how poor the service. I have been in the service industry for 5 years, 11 less than yourself and I would never do that.
I totally agree with the complainted of bad attitudes and service they are the worsed I have seen in a while with money so tight I can't believe this place isn't trying hard to get your business
