We purchased a couch from Baer's back in July of 2021.
We then moved to a bigger home in August 2022 and contacted Baer's to purchase the same couch so that we could have two couches in our living room, our sales associate was Mona.
Our first problem we encountered was that the couch was delivered to our old address. So they told us they would correct the address on their system, and that we would receive a call to schedule a delivery.
We never received a call, so I contacted Mona, and it turned out that they had the wrong phone number. We were then told that this would be corrected in their system. After several attempts we finally got our couch.
Five months later, we are noticing the new couch was making loud squeaky noises when you sat on it. It was obvious that it was Manufacturer's defect.
I reached out to Mona to let her know, with no reply back. I then contacted Baer's and got a hold of a gentlemen by the name of Mike. He promised us it would be resolved and that someone from services would reach out to us on a specific date. To which, no one reached out to us. I contacted Mike again, asked him to double check the phone number in the system since we previously had that problem, he confirmed the phone number, and promised once again that we would be contact on a specific date. Again we did not receive a call. I called Mike again and he apologized repeatedly for the lack of service. A month goes by, between calling Mike, not receiving any calls as promised, so I finally spoke to the manager Robert. He assured me this would be taken care of immediately. Again no calls, no one reaching out to help.
Finally on January 25 2023, I received a text message from Lindsay (from the repair service), telling me they had the wrong number (again) and trying to schedule an appointment to have technicians come to our home, earliest date is Feb 14 or Feb 22.
I asked her if they are coming to replace the couch or just inspecting the couch, to which she mentioned it will be an inspection.
The couch is clearly needs to be replaced and not fixed, I offered to send a video, however it was not her authorization to make that call.
So it took one month to finally receive a call from Baer's and now another month before technicians can come out to "inspect".
SUPER disappointed with their service and their accountability to what they advertise on their site "We want to do whatever it takes to earn your trust as our customer".
We are repeat customers and we are getting the run around as if this was a mom and pop shop. Trust I no longer have with this company.
Desired outcome: Replace my couch, don't send anyone to "inspect" something that we know is broken, and financial compensation for our inconveniences.
