On Monday 12/06/21 my wife was discriminated and refused
service by Dr. mark P. Caruso at the location of Baptist Health Primary Care. 11535 SW 88 Street Miami Fl 33176. On this day my wife a had an appointment. Before we made the appointment, we informed the call centre that we needed a Doctor that was able to communicate with my wife in Spanish. We were told that they will accommodate us with the language barrier. At our arrival, we waited 30 min before the nurse called my wife. the nurse told me that I couldn't come in with my wife. I informed the nurse that my wife did not speak English and that I was there to translate for her. the nurse went back inside to informed the Doctor about my wife not being able to communicate in English. The nurse came back and told us that the doctor was not going to provide service to my wife because she did not speak English. The Doctor was very unprofessional and rude knowing that we were listening in the room. My wife was discriminated by Dr Mark P. Caruso at Baptist Health Primary Care because she did not speak English regardless of me offering to translate for my wife. The Doctor was very unprofessional and rude knowing that we were listening to his conversation with the nurse. He told the nurse that he was NOT providing his service to a patient that does not speak English. My wife left the building office humiliated by this Doctor because she did not speak English.
