On July 27, I visited Baptist Health Neurology in New Albany, Indiana. I am diagnosed with Paroxysmal Atrial Tachycardia and PVC's. I was being treated with Premidone for essential tremors. I was advised by my Electrophysiologist not to deviate from my proscribed dosages of premidone, Leah Phillips-Black, the physcian assistant had written a detailed graduated increase in dosage and this office was not ordering the prescribed amounts. I called the office several times regarding this matter. On this day I talked with someone named Esmeralda who became confrontational when I stated I had written dosage instructions. I hung up the phone and drove to the office only to be confronted by the front desk. The office manager was called and immediately supported her front office. I left the office in anger and called Leah Phillips-Black at home who resolved the issue the following day. Since this time I have had to visit my cardiologist and the ER. I hope this office staff can be made aware of the severity of their actions! I also incurred additional out of pocket expense for my prescriptions. I'm asking my bill for that visit be reduced by $39.38. This is the amount I incurred for my prescription at the local pharmacy.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement of $39.38 and office manager Molly meet to discuss the issue of that day!Michael Boley404-610-3640
