I joined the gym in New Smyrna Beach approximately 6 months ago and I am also a black card member. I have really enjoyed it until recently. It seems the gym is going downhill quickly. The AC in the black card room where the hydro beds are that I used to enjoy has not been working now for at least a week and a half. The employees have opened both glass doors to try make it cooler which creates yet another problem. This in turn makes it hotter in the rest of the gym where I am working out. Then we have the total body machine which has also been out of order for some time so I can't use that either. You have some great employees working there which brings me to the last complaint. I'm not sure if this is true but I heard that several are leaving. If this is true, don't you think someone should be checking into all of this and finding out what the root cause is.? Do you think continuously hiring new people will solve the problem? I would like to see this turn out to be a company who cares about their employees and members but as of now I don't see it. I think everyone with a black card should should be compensated until the repairs have been made. Thank you, Donita Wallace [protected]
Planet Fitness - Broken equipment
We joined and pay for the Black Card Membership specifically for me to use the VibraShape machine to help manage my Fibromyalgia. The machine no longer works. It has been over a week since the staff filed a work order for it to be fixed/replaced and no one has yet to show up to look at it. Do NOT send this on to the manager since this isn't something she can fix.
Why should my husband and I continue to pay extra for the Black Card membership when the only machine I was using, that was actually helping me, isn't working?
So, in One Month:
*Ceiling leaked during a rainstorm
*Gym stunk from tar being put on the roof
*Equipment in disrepair
*AC not working
We love the staff... not crazy about corporate PF.
You may lose our business if you continue to disregard the importance of keeping your gym in working order.
