On 27 August on or around 1635 I arrived to Biolife location at Orlando Good Homes rd. After completing my bloodwork I went on or around 1650 to wait line for plasma extraction. There was approximately 16 personel waiting I was waiting in line for 55 minutes. During this time staff did processed one person while there were numerous open systems available. On or around 1745 the personnel decided the 6 personel and sent rest of us home without any explanation without any offer for our wasted time and effort. It is not a first time this location showed serious issues with professional handling of the donors and the scheduling. My Contact Vladimir Stepanik [protected]
Desired outcome: I want my $100 dollars on my donors card which I did not received due the location employees incompetence.
BioLife Plasma Services - Privacy violation / bad experience
Hello. I have just returned to this Good holmes rd center in Orlando FL and an employee was extremely rude to me and violated my privacy. I was getting screened and the front desk employee was hovering over my screening from start to finish, when I politely asked that employee, which her name is Sophia, if she could please step back I need to ask my examiner a question she rudely told me in an elevated voice that no she will not back up, I was Surprised and embarrassed that she responded to me that way, especially when she was hovering over my examination. I said I need to ask a personal question and my examiner then politely ask the associate to step back and Sophia further yelled no I am Not going to step back. I then politely asked my examiner to speak with a supervisor, before she could respond the other employee named Sophia quickly turned and said I’ll go get her myself. Sophia then went to the managers office or somewhere in the back and then she came back, she did not say anything, She just looked at me on the way back and then leaned against the counter watching me until the supervisor came. The manager came and ask how she could help me, I asked if we could have a conversation in privacy, the supervisor Tacara politely said yes and took me to a room where we discussed what just took place. May I just say on another note, I can vaguely remember that same associates rudeness, she wasn’t rude to me, then but she was rude to other employees in front of me and other donors. I remember her being rude to an older woman which is still here as well as the examiner that was helping me now. I am extremely surprised an individual like that is the first contact of this business. If people have started dwindling I can only assume it is because of her lack of respect and kindness to people upon entry. I would urge you to see if there are any complaints upon this employee, I don’t know if they have gone through the length that I have to convey my dissatisfaction to you but I would assume there is some sort of record. I appreciate your help with this matter and you can definitely call me if you need to follow up. I hope you have a great day thank you in advance.
You also have a center supervisor there, candy mcman, this Supervisor called me before researching the issue later that day, she acted nonchalant, laughed during the conversation when I said that the employee needs to be reprimanded in someway shape or form with HR, and she acted like she did not believe me and all of this was very apparent to me. I don’t feel like she is a correct person to handle a facility based off of our minimal interaction.
Desired outcome: Employee removal, what avenue I need for privacy violations, compensation. I came to the facility to do my part at 6:30 in the morning and had to deal with rudeness, disrespectfulness and violations to privacy, all before my day had begun.

BioLife Plasma Services - Service from front desk employee and “supervisor”
I was wondering if ya'll have a policy where you are not able to donate if you live in an RV park? I have been a donor for just about 2 years and I was very offended when they told me I was unable to donate due to where I live. They were extremely rude and disgusting about it. I am a permanent resident, receive mail, and have a VERY nice tiny home in a great community. It's a shame that since I decided to down-size I am no longer able to donate. My mom has lupus and is surviving off plasma donated. I will definitely still be donating, just no longer with BioLife.

BioLife Plasma Services - Negligence leading to improperly trained employees
My name is Matthew Aaron Walker. My date of physical in the Casselberry BioLife was 8/05/19. My phone is [protected]. I have been donating Plasma at BioLife Plasma Centers in the Orlando area for the better part of a year and a half. I started off at the Casselberry Clinic and transferred to the clinic in Ocoee on Good Homes road. The transfer should have been a simple 3-5 day shifting of paperwork in the system. Not my words, but the words of the person at the front counter representing BioLife when the transfer was made. I elected to take the required physical at the Casselberry location so that would be done and out of the way and I could simply start giving when my paperwork was cleared at the new clinic. That is where the trouble began. A brand new trainee was left on the front desk by himself with no supervision. BioLife is opening up so many new clinics in the area that they are behind in training new people and the ones that are in training are receiving shoddy and insufficient training. The untrained, new employee, Amir, was manning the front desk when I arrived. He questioned me on two or three things that I knew to be correct. This was on 8/05/19. I knew he was wrong and uninformed, so I asked to speak with a supervisor, which Amir also challenged. Eventually I was told to go to the computer and start filling out the questions that would precede my physical. I was a little confused because the first question was about my pregnancy. I answered the question, thinking that the surveys were general for all sexes. I finished the survey and got a precheck for my blood components and then was allowed to give blood. When I got to the new clinic they informed me that I had filled out the questions as if I was a female. I was informed by one of the supervisors that this was a big deal and that if the FDA found out that they could be in big trouble. She then told me that she was having to fill out a huge report because of the gross negligence of Amir. I was forced to take another physical which they did compensate me monetarily for, but it honestly felt like hush money. Since the move to Ocoee I have experienced more inept business practices. I have also learned that the computer systems for the same company don't talk to one another. My donations got all screwed up. Some of my personal information didn't transfer over. And not once while this was going on behind the scenes did anyone bother to call me. When Amir sent me over to take the questions that day, the supervisor ended up stopping me in the middle of the questions. I followed their lead and as a result of not finishing the questions was deferred. But I didn't know that until I showed up for my next appointment. These people are dealing with sensitive medical procedures and issues. I have no faith that they are handling them with the care needed. When I thought everything was fine, I showed up today to donate and was told that my protein was off. I have been subjected to 2 protein tests since I arrived a few short months ago to this clinic. I don't have any faith that is correct, because the employees at this clinic have no idea what is going on from one minute to the next. They act like they are working at Starbucks and simply pumping out drinks, rather than doing sensitive medical work. As soon as I send this, I am filing an initial report with the FDA as well. Important things keep on falling through the cracks and it is inexcusable. The only saving grace in any of this is Jacy Cizek. She is the one dealing with all my complaints, but I feel that this deserves some outside attention before someone gets sick or worse, mortally hurt because of the inept practices and miscommunication going on in these Plasma Clinics. The other point of contention is that the clinic phlebotomists are running themselves ragged, because of the greed of BioLife centers. The clinics are always crowded with new donors. There is no order to any of the chaos. I sat across from one man that was stuck by a new person and at one point Began to bleed out onto his pants. That was a BioLife negligence and the gentleman was told they would not be able to return his blood and he had to be deferred for a few weeks. They did offer to pay for his dry cleaning. People are standing around waiting for 20 minutes to get a bed and sometimes 30 minutes to get hooked up on the machines. And there is never any explanation, only apologies and thanks for being patient. Well I am through being patient. Something has got to give. I have witnessed on several occasions, entitled patients coming in and making requests as to who will stick them for the day. Is this a business or a choose your own adventure boutique? Safety is an issue when there are not enough employees to cope with the demand of new donors. For God's sake, even Disney closes the gates when the parks are full. I am through being frustrated every time I walk into BioLife. These practices have got to be evaluated by someone in charge and fixed. They can't keep treating like cattle and expect to get away with it.
