I am appalled and disgusted with the location in Orlando Florida at 9101 International Drive Orlando Florida 32819. I had been planning my son's birthday party for over a week now to celebrate it at Monkey Joe's. I had previously called and spoken with some of the staff to find out if it was okay to bring a cake and still buy pizza and refreshments from monkey Joe's. I have made them very aware that I wasn't going to reserve a room as our party was very small. they told me it was fine that I could still bring the cake and sit on 1 of the small bench tables in the back play area. today is December 12 2012 and I arrive and the first thing the manager says to me is that we have to leave because we're not able to celebrate my son's birthday http://m.youtube.com/ . she had the audacity to say that I could bring the cake in but that I was not allowed to cut the cake. I explain to her then why would they give me permission to do so in the first place 2 then turn around and state no on the day of his celebration for his birthday. I have visited this location before on numerous occasions with my son and have seen parents bring cakes with balloons and celebrate their sons or daughters birthday on some of the small bench tables in the back. I am in shock at the unprofessionalism that I received at this location especially from the manager and their staff. I hope that I actually in it taken against the store and I no longer will be a monkey Joe's customer.

Tried to bring in a salad from Panera since their are no healthy options at this place. Was attending a birthday party. Lady at the front desk was so rude about it I never want to step foot in a monkey joes ever again!
If you tried to bring food from another restaurant into my place, I would throw you out...
Totally agree with orlandomom. I love that Monkey Joes staff kicked those big kids out. I have a 12 year old and he knows well to be careful around smaller children. Like I've always said, "best lessons are taught at home".
Seriously? Your kids were throwing food and using profanity and you see nothing wrong with that? You think it's okay for bigger kids to run over littler kids, to play roughly and push other kids around? Thank goodness they kicked you out! I am glad to know that I can count on Monkey Joe's staff and management to control people and families such as yours, and I will be sure to continue to frequent their establishment. Thanks for the recommendation!
Might I also mention the kids had just eaten pizza and we were getting ready to cut the cake. While this was happening the adults were chatting and they told us the told several party members several times to calm down and play nicely. THen before we could cut the cake they asked us to leave and told us we could not cut the cake. They ruined my son's 12th birthday.
Thanks Tasha, I have to admit that you made me laugh. However they said the reason that my children were kicked out was because they are throwing food at each other. Come on now they are 11 and 12 year old boys at that age they are like that. Also they claimed that they kicked us out because some of the children were playing roughly in the play area and using profanity. If parents don't want their children to be pushed around they should be watching their children and not allowing them to get in the way of older children. Kids will be kids. If you don't like kids dont work in a place called Monkey Joes.
