We took the lowest membership of $3490.00 that we couldn't really afford but the savings and conveince that was promised would have been worth the sacrifice, if it would have been true. During the orientation the subject of online shopping from your home came up. I am a handicapped person in a wheel chair so I asked if you could buy toys and anything else on line as I do all my Christmas and birthday shopping for our 6 children and 9 grandchildren on line. The answer was of course yes I could shop for anything I wanted online. That sold me, I could save money as I shopped online as I always did. The physical store is about 20 miles from where I live even if I could get out to go shop I would have to go all the way back to pick it up. When I got my membership papers with my member# in the mail about two weeks later, I went online to check it out. I was shocked to find that the only thing I could by online, with the lowest membership was big items appliances, some select furniture, big toy items (expensive electric cars, large swing sets ect.) and every piece of window curtain rod fixture there is, no curtains, drapes or even a blind just curtain rod fixtures. We were also told that Sears was one of there providers for in store and also auto maintenance. when we called Sears all they did was sell tires at a discount for direct buy. I immediately called and asked if I could cancel the membership because it was useless to me, I was told they were very sorry but once it went through financing it could not be cancelled. We have paid a total of $1500.00 and still owe almost $2000.00 on something we have never used and probably never will. Money we can't afford to lose thrown away because of being scammed into believing something that is not true. We are retired people on fixed social security incomes, and we are paying $163.90 a month that we should not be paying.
