I bought a set of tires and wheels from Matt at we wheel fire and I had a left rear tire blowout and did over $5000 for the damage to my truck. While looking at this the tires were cracking between the tread. He said he would talk to the tire manufacturer Americus and he never got back with me. Desired outcome: I had to buy new tires I would like to be reimbursed and damage fixed
Wheelfire - wheefire is a nightmare!
I purchased 4 wheels, mounted, balanced and guaranteed to fit my 2003 Chevrolet Malibu from wheelfire.com, I got extreme vibration at speeds over 50mph. Trying to resolve this issue I went to the Chevrolet dealer and got an alignment and 27 point vehicle inspection. I was told the wheels are either out of balance or i need to install hub rings. hub rings were pictured with the wheel installation kit but were not included in my boxes. I then took my vehicle to a local tire shop, where I was told they were not balanced correctly from the wheelfire, I contacted wheelfire and they sent me hub rings, I installed but still had bad vibration, then i was instructed by wheelfire to go another local tire place and have the wheels road force balanced, but they were only able to road force balance 2 wheels, the other 2 i was told were either bad wheels, bad tires or both! I contacted wheelfire again and was quickly sent 2 replacements, however I received one scratched wheel (the box and plastic wrapping were undamaged), and the other had the tire mounted facing the wrong direction directional tires). Also, both tires have different tread! I am now having to go back and pay the tire place again to have the tire flipped around and re-balanced!

I ordered a set of wheels and tires for my 2008 SL550. I kept asking them to put the road hazard warranty on them. All they did was promise me that they would add it to my order before the order was shipped. They didn’t put the warranty on my wheels and tires, now I have them and I guess I’m just screwed if anything happens to them. I was planning on buying another set of wheels & tires for my Camaro but I will not buy them from Wheelfire because they won’t come through with what they promised me. Matt I think you know what I’m talking about. The wheels & tires look great but I still would like the peace of mind by having the warranty. This is the reason why I’m done doing business with you.
