I returned some furniture after taking a confirmation on email from Rooms to go that they will process my refund as soon as they pick the furniture. They picked the furniture on Dec 12th and i have not yet received the refund. I had an email confirmation and so kept on waiting on it. In the meanwhile, while i was waiting to receive my refund, i placed another order (completely separate order) on Dec 14th and paid $900 through 9 gift cards ($100 each). I got my furniture by Dec 20th. Around Jan 3rd, when i followed up with Rooms to go about my refund on the returned furniture, they came back saying that i have placed another order where i have used $900 through gift cards but i can only use $300 per transaction and so they will deduct rest $600 from my refund of the completely different order. I raised my concern that if that was the case, why did your website accept $900 through gift cards. Had their web site not accepted it in one transaction, i would have placed 3 different transaction and would have used by entire $900 gift cards. Rooms to go is not ready to understand and accept that it was an issue at their end wherein their website accepted the payment of $900 through gift cards and delivered the furniture. All this happened because they already had my money. Had they refunded my money on time, i wouldn't have gotten into this mess.
I am really disappointed with the service i have received and will ensure that i don't buy any more furniture from them.
