I called and talked to 4 people, none of these people could help, one said to call outlook even though it was a tds server issue, another directed me to read a site on their website instead of walking me through the solution.
I continued to ask for advanced support, which was ignored, it was obvious when I was put on hold that the tech was receiving information from someone else. I could not understand the accent.
I friend came over and saw the frustration and fixed it for me.
TDS Telecommunications - Internet service
TDS is the only option I have for Land line and Internet. the next closest provider is 7+ miles away, and that is AT&T. I started using TDS 13 years ago. The customer service and Internet speeds and packages were good at that time. The Internet has not improved in those 13 years. Customer Service is nothing like it used to be which used to be the best I had seen. I pay $70+ for a land line and 5Mbps Internet. My son pays $50 for 200Mbps Internet 15 miles away with AT&T.
I contacted TDS about plans to update the speeds in our area. They pointed me to the FCC. Apparently they only improve services in areas that the FCC will give them a grant to do it. The FCC erroneously has our area listed as having multiple providers. This is incorrect. I put in a complaint to the FCC. I contacted TDS to let them know and they really did not seem to care. They said they could do nothing but I could complain to the FCC.
Thanks for the help TDS (not), it would only make your business better and your customers happier if you would lift a finger to correct the FCC. I am sure you have more leverage than I do.
