First time going to Great Expressions on 1152 Old Salem Rd SE Conyers, GA. My Left side Molar (no. 19) was hurting terribly. I couldn't eat or sleep. The dentist saw the infection in my tooth through an Xray but said it's probably from my Wisdom tooth. He gave me antibiotics and pain meds and after 7 days he removed the Wisdom tooth.

I called the office Thursday and Friday after my wisdom tooth was extracted but no one answered the phone. I saw a missed call on Friday just after 5pm and they had just called 2 minutes ago. When I called back they had closed for the weekend. On Saturday morning the pain was unbearable. I called their emergency line. The doctor prescribed another round of antibiotics and said to see him on Monday morning 4/12/21. When I got there he insisted that my pain was from the extracted Wisdom tooth.
I told him that pain in the molar is the reason I was referred to see him the first time for a root canal. This doctor is in my CIGNA list of In-Network Endodontics.

He insisted that I don't need a root canal. He asked that I finish medication and if still in pain he will refer me to a specialist Endodontic because he cannot do that root canal due to how the molar roots appear. I insisted that he gives me the referral right away. One of the nurses set the appointment for the next day. I went to another Endodontics immediately and he confirmed that I need a root canal. The following day I went to Great Expressions on Cascade Road in Georgia and they did the root canal ASAP. The doctor there was very surprised to know I suffered close to 2 weeks and that I was told the pain is from an extracted wisdom tooth. He knew right away that I need a root canal he was very apologetic and sorry for what I went through.

The infection in my molar spread to my sinus and tonsils. My jaw has been stiff and very painful. I have been struggling to eat. I am on medication now for sinus infection and tonsils. If I was not persistent I could have ended up in a much worse situation.
