On 12/13/2021, on order #[protected] I purchased a dining room set for $863.99, from RTG on Turner Hill Road. I paid $463.99 cash and $400.00 in gift cards (had to do two separate transactions since only can use 3 gift cards per transaction).
On May 7, 2022 I was informed that the dining room set had been discontinued and I was offered a refund. I was informed that I would receive a check for the cash that I was owed, but was informed that I could only receive store credit for the $400 worth of gift cards. I was told to provide my phone number or ID and my store credit would populate. I did receive two checks totaling $463.99, BUT Rooms to Go is telling me that I don't have any store credit showing in their system. The employees and managers agree that it appears that they owe me $400, but they haven't resolved the situation and keep giving me the runaround. I've spent over $17,000 at this location, but I won't be going back again. Not good business for a company to steal $400 from an everyday citizen. That's a whole week of work
Desired outcome: Company to fix their refund policy and compensate me my $400 and extra for the headache they've caused.
Rooms To Go - Love seat that was damaged upon delivery
I received my orginial order on 3/11/2020 order # 15736641 with the delivery date of 4-10-21 the love seat was damaged and due to be replaced. I was given a delivery date of saturday, may 29..1 1/2 months later. I got the confirmation call of the delivery date on friday 28 asking me to be home for that between 7a-12noon.. My time got change I did not received a call from delivery team... Call your customer service at 12:45 and was told at that it had been moved to 1-6p.. No one called to notified me the change.. Your delivery company did not show nor did I get a call
Spoke to local store mgr at your store stonecrest, on monday 5/30 it was as wasted trip got no resolution.. He said I had to speak to customer service called them and was told the next delivery time was 6-11 new order number 16042208ex. Is is just in the african american neighborhoods that poor service is given, I think so. You take our money and the end results it no service at all. Rtg hires delivery companies that don't care.. They lie to u, tell lies on u about contact truly outrageous, your company or the sub contractor you hired cannot be trusted with the truth.
How and why if you have my item I have to waited for it takes another week this is totally unacceptable and the most horrible customer service I have every experience.
I have spentclosed to $3k at your store and my friend has spent more... I will never purchase another item from rtg, and will not recommend this company to family or friends or my enemies.
Your customer service line is horrible with wait time in excess of over 1.5 hours to speak to anyone. I had been in the customer service business for 43 + years and my company would never treat our clients this way.
I need to be made whole which this company seems not to care but take your money and the client has to deal with what every comes after that.
I will be post on my fb page + other decorating groups that I am apart of never to come into your store to purchase anything.
Desired outcome: I want my replacement loveseat delivery by Friday June 4 I have guest coming to town on Saturday 6-5
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
