Hibbett Sports - Poorly manage store! Awful customer service!

Hibbett’s Sports in Sandersville GA, 31082

If it wasn’t 8 PM I promise I would have drove all the way to Dublin or Milledgeville to get my nephew his baseball socks. I almost never shop at Hibbett’s at home located at 660 South Harris street since management changed. I’m not even going into all of what happened. I will say this though. It was (4) people working maybe (3) because I’m not convinced the young man the cashier was in deep conversation with wasn’t her boyfriend. No one greeted me at all when I walked in; which happens with my every experience. Honestly I was suppose to leave then. Once I found what I needed I walked up to the register my face all tore up. One female was sitting on the countertop enjoying her conversations with the other two employees like that’s normal. Honestly for this Hibbets sports it is. Another one was sitting in Indian style on the floor on her cellphone; I’m like REALLY where you think you’re working at The Day Care Center. When I tell you I chopped that cashier up today I did. She said Ma’am did you find everything you need. After not one of them offered to help. I said Ma’am YES I did find everything I needed without the help of anyone in this store. Honestly I thought the store was empty because not one person in here greeted me when I walked in. Then I said if my nephew didn’t need these socks for his game tomorrow. I would have walked up to this counter, and told all of y’all disrespectful, un ethical humans, poor excuse for an employee where y’all can go. Being that it was hard for me to decide which pair to get him over this loud vulgar music y’all are playing in here. I’m glad I didn’t have his MeMa with me. I’m sure it won’t do me any good to call your manager because it’s a clear reflection of what type of management is running this store. It’s just sad that the larger majority of the time it has to be us. So I’ll say this much in your language so you can understand. All while she’s holding my change in her hand. Give me my change so I can go. Then instruct your staff to get off the counters, and floors. Even the good people get tired of being nice, and cordial to the ignorant people. Sick and tired of spending my money, and paying these their salaries. So after having so many of these experiences in this store; which seems to have fallen on deaf ears. I’m hoping this one doesn’t; should I not hear anything back. I will be forwarding several other people to ensure something is DONE. It’s such and awful experience I suggest that you all just shut it down, put the locks 🔐 and chains ⛓ on the door. We don’t want this type of poor customer service in our hometown.
