I had been a returning customer for 1 1/2 year prior, and the new $900 compensation enticed me to return. I was told I needed to have an iron test first, which was completed, I was never connected and when I called was told they had called an old home phone number. I then came back into the 5950 Rockwell Dr. NE Cedar Rapids, IA for my physical and was told I couldnt get the $900 offer to wait two days for the new $1100 deal, and which time I confrimed my cell number for contact info - which I did. Made another physical appt and came into the Rockwell and was told, this was for only NEW donors, after I was told the opposite. I called and spoke with the supervisor Lisa, which told me she would honor the $1100 donation deal because of all the mistakes been done. Came in again, for my third vist 8/29 was told by REBA - assist manager that Lisa cant make that offer, and basically I probably wasnt being truthful concerning what Lisa agreed to. I explained they called the wrong phone number prior concerning my iron test, she said she didnt really care about that and I would need to accept the current offer or not! when I asked what this offer was, she explained she didn't like my attitude and didn't like me, and wasn't going to tell me and that I needed to leave. I never once raised my voice, used any swear words, and explained that I'm just trying to explain my situation that Lisa and I had prior spoke about, Reba, said Lisa, had no real authority over her and I needed to leave. I explained I got up early on a Sunday for a physical and are here to make a donation, and you are telling me you don't want my business. Reba quotes "yes" I don't want your
business.
I have been a manager for over 20 years and if I had ever seen one of my team mates address a customer in this manner I would let them go - Because, from the start she had a bad attitude towards me and you could tell this was how she talks to customers.
