I purchased a camper on June 12th From your location in Davenport Iowa. I have had the camper out on 3 camping trips and during those camping trips, we have found several things that are wrong with the RV. I called up to your Davenport location and they said for us to bring it in and that they would fix everything that is wrong with it under the warranty. We live 2 1/2 hours away from Davenport so when we got there and spoke with the service person we asked him about possibly getting reimbursed for gas. He said that he would speak to his sales manager about getting reimbursed for gas. We also wanted to purchase a bigger handle for our camper. He said that they could give us the handle and have it installed for free for having to bring the camper all the way back up there innplace of the gas. We told him everything wrong with the camper and he said that it would probably take about a week or so to fix it. We took the camper to Davenport on July 3rd. It is now the 12th. I have called and spoke to two differ people in the service department and get a different story each time I have called. The first person said that they were waiting on parts to be sent to them so that they can fix the issues. I called again and the second person told me that two of the issues have been fixed and that the parts were ordered 6 days ago and that they still have not received them. I called again today to check the status to see if they had received the parts. I was told that they are waiting on approval from warranty before the parts can be ordered. So they basically lied to me saying that parts were already ordered. I spoke to the service manager Kenny and asked what they could do for me because at this point I am paying for a camper that I don't even have and that I can't use. He told me that I was welcome to come pick up the camper and use it while they were waiting for parts. Again I live 2 1/2 hours away and that is alot of gas to be going back and forth. I asked him if he would give us gas money for the trip up there. He told me that they do not reimburse fuel. Which is a lie because they gave my aunt a gas card when she purchased her camper from there and the other guy said that he would be able to speak to his sales manager about it. I asked them if they inspect the campers when they get them on the lot and they said that they do. I told them that they missed alot of things wrong with my camper and then one of the service girls chimed in I believe her name was McKinsey and said did we even do a walk through when we purchased the camper. I told her yes but there are things wrong with the camper that we wouldn't have known were messed up until we took it out on a trip. But there were several things that they let slip through the cracks. 1. The door on the camper was very hard to open and you had to slam ot to get it to close. The sales rep. said oh that should lossen up when you start using it more. 2. The there is a big dent at the top of the camper. The reason I noticed it is because I was standing on my balcony at home and looked down at my camper and saw there was a big dent at the top. If they do inspect the campers when they get them in they should have noticed the dent. 3. There is a chip in the window by the kitchen sink. We didn't see it when we did the walk through because the window was closed. They should have noticed that as well. whem inspecting the camper. The other things we wouldn't have know was wrong until we took it out is the sink leaks in the kitchen, the air conditioner vent doesn't close, the bathroom door gets stuck and if you are in there by yourself you would be locked in the bathroom, the table trim pops off when you lay it out to a bed, the back stabilizer doesn't work proerly you have to push the button several times before it would go all the way down. The door locks on its own when you close it. The Bluetooth speaker fell down when we traveled. The didn't have it mounted correctly. So basically at this point I am very frustrated with the whole situation and I am about to have to pay my first payment coming up on the 27th for a camper that I don't have and can't use because they have no idea when they will have warranty approval to fix and order the parts that I was told that were already ordered. They said I could pick up the camper while waiting for the parts but like I said that is over a 2 hour drive and that is alot of gas going back and forth. They also told me that I could take it to a closer dealer ship but that I would have to start the whole warranty process over. I either want to give the camper back and get a new one or I would like some type of reimbursement for gas and my payments be put on hold until I get my camper back. If you can't help me then I will have to cancel the whole transaction and go somewhere else. Please get back to me as soon as you can. Thank you!
