I received a upper and lower denture from Aspen Dental of West Burlington on August 18 2023. I paid CASH PAYMENT OF $2000 on July 24th and the remaining balance, which was $1538, on August 18th 2023. Conveniently, my insurance provider, Delta Dental, sent payment on August 18th 2023. I requested to be reimbursed my cash payment of $3538 at the beginning of September. I got no response from Aspen Dental until I made a personal appearance sometime at the beginning of October. I spoke with the temporary officer manager Kat, who said see would look into it. When I visited the office 2 weeks later, still nothing had progressed on my reimbursement. That's when I filed the BBB complaint. And I specifically requested payment in the same format that it was received. Or if a paper check, the financial institution be a local area banking establishment. The restroom for that request is my credit report not allowing my prison to open a bank account or cash a check ANYWHERE in my area. Today I received a check for the correct amount. FROM A SYRACUSE NEW YORK BANK.
The West Burlington Aspen Dental stated that they were an independent branch. I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED THE ABILITY TO CASH THE CHECK. AND THEY DID NOT COMPLY.
I CAN NOT CASH THIS CHECK ANYWHERE. I NEED A RESOLUTION TO GETTING MY CASH BACK
Claimed loss: $3538 IN CASH. ELECTRONIC PAYMENT, OR A CHECK WRITTEN FROM A BANK IN WEST BURLINGTON. FOR EXAMPLE, US BANK A NATIONAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTION
Desired outcome: I need payment in A FORM I AM CAPABLE OF RECOVERING MY MONEY
