I had a drug test taken for pre-employment. The person who took my urine sample was very rude to me, told me to shut up and listen and was just down right disrespectful. She let me know immediately that she was in control and I had no voice. I do not understand why Quest personnel acts like this - instead of saying Welcome to Quest, we are here to help you.
This person acted like I was a drug addict or something. I am shocked at how I was treated and spoke to. This person needs some serious training and attitude adjustment before she handles another patient. If I said, "Would you like my lab number" She replied, "No, give me your ID." It was always the opposite of what I was doing. Her responses were: "Do this - do that - follow me - shut up and listen - I will tell you what you are going to do." I wasn't allowed to speak. I felt threatened and abused.
My specimen ID no. was QD15985856 at the Alton, IL lab on 3/19/2021. My appt. time was 12:45 pm. My name is Keeley Bogart, I am 61-years old. I work in healthcare and I have not been a witness/victim to such a disgraceful place in my entire career.
I expect a response from this complaint because of the way I was treated. Quest needs to be accountable for their employees. This employee had serious issues and she was taking her angry out on me. No manners and just down right nasty. No wonder the waiting room was empty. I will go to LabCorp.
And the other employees could hear how she was talking to me and did not say a word. That is wrong!
I totally expect something to be wrong with this specimen and will be expected to return for another collection.
Desired outcome: I want this entire staff to be retrained.
