We bought the open-box item with a discount on the open-box price (in addition to the lower value for being open-box). Despite the fact the company coverage policy (mention under section 7b on page 7 of the Geek Squad protection plan document) mentions reimbursing on non-discounted value, they are only willing to reimburse for the amount we paid on the invoice and don't even cancel the full protection plan that we paid for TV.
They decline to accommodate our request in any reasonable capacity or honor the service they have sold us for the same mentioned TV yet want us to pay for that service (at least partially) that they are not willing to honor.
Desired outcome: Exchange TV with comparable model (performance and technology wise)
Stay away from this corporation. They have the worst customer service. Lots of hidden fee. selling you services that they have no intention to honor if it comes to it and no one that you can find that can be held responsible or provide you with reasonable answer. There is a useless bunch of people working from home and they have no answer for any question or provide you with any support or help other that having you wait on hold between department that they do absolutely nothing but repeating ridiculous sentences like an answering machine which has nothing to do with your question. It seems they are instructed to frustrate you to just give up and they have no intention of providing help or service or find resolution. Don't waste your time and energy working with this corporation. BTW anywhere that you contact or any phone number you find will be circle back to the same place.
