Hello,
I made an prior complaint regarding my service on my 07 Cadillac CTS and left an complaint based on my experience of service that day and would like to follow up with it. I left an poor complaint experience based on the repair date of 12/23, However I would like to say that I reacted off of emotions, stress and past experience. I was already stressed and frustrated with having car issues out of no where and getting the run around with Car shield who guarneeted my car was covered. Mind you I'm 7 months pregnant. I thought Car X was taking advantage of me and having me pay for an unnecessary repair and was upset of the poor communication from them. Long story short, I paid out of pocket for an repair to turn around the next day to have a really big repair needed. It was an hassle already with Car Shield. I shouldn't had left a bad complaint at the time. As the days with on, Allen did the best to ease my mind and explain the repairs and etc with me. I feel really bad for leaving a complaint when afterall, the repaired what they thought was the problem. I finally got it squared away with Car shield who will cover my repair, but the only problem is since I left a complaint it threw a wrench in the situation and caused Car X not want to touch my car to repair it. I was told today that the manager above the Store manager will have to give the okay and I still haven't heard back yet. They had my car since 12/26 and I'm currently paying out of pocket for a rental until they call Car Shield to file an claim to start the repair. I believe I reacted on the stress and emotions and the pregnancy didn't help but if they refuse to work on my car to at least let me know so I can take it else where. However, I would like them to repair it so I haven't moved it yet. I'm sorry to Allen the manager and would like to them know that I know they are doing the best they can and would like them to work on my car as I been an loyal customer for the past 10 years and have took all my vehicles there for repairs and only had 1 problem in the past but it was taken care of.

I notice my car was acting funny Friday 12/20, it was having trouble starting after fueling and I noticed the rpm been go up a little and the car kind of hesitated at times but would go back to normal. It also had the engine light that would come on and off at times. I called that day for an appointment for Monday 12/23 at 2pm. The next day Saturday 12/21, my car wouldn't start but just crank. I had my car towed that day to CarX. I was planning on going through my car shield but however by time car x diagnosed what they claim what the reason and already repaired it prior to getting approval and making sure it was covered. I found out car shield was not going to cover it. I was livid. However car x ( Allen) told me it was a bad battery and a purge value in the fuel that was causing the issues. They wanted to charges me 250 for a battery but I knew better so I got one at auto zone but I was responsible for the purge value at 165 since they already replaced it however he told me my car was running perfect, I can turn my car off when getting gas now, engine light it off so I was ok with it. I really thought they fixed my problem. I had a new battery installed that night on my lunch break but when I got off a few hours later . As I was driving home the car seemed to run louder then it ever did and the engine light came right back on and I still had to leave my car running to get gas. I was so pissed. In the morning, before stopping at CarX I went to auto zone to have my code read and the battery checked, my battery was good and the code read an camshaft sensor. I had that code read on Friday 12/20 at auto zone when I noticed my car acting different, same code. Anyways, I went back to CarX and comforted them about my repairs. I was told my battery was no good at that time and now we just have another new problem. [censored]. They repaired something that wasn't even a problem. They diagnosed my car by the symptoms and did not have the code read. I told them my car is still doing the same thing that they guaranteed fixed the problem. They also told me that they checked my camshaft sensor and it was good. Lies. They said to bring it back Thursday morning 12/26. But on Christmas evening, trying to leave for work, my car would not start. It would crank but not start. The exact same problem I had in the beginning that they guaranteed they fixed. I had to have my car towed once again back there today. CarX should be responsible for my repairs and needs to fix the real problem. I should not have to pay for another repair when I just got done paying for something that wasn't needed and was scammed. I really didn't even want to take my car back but they should fix my car the correct way and not google doctor my car repairs. Please take care of this. This has been a horrible experience especially during the holidays. I'm out of transportation now and I have my 13 anniversary in 4 days that I need to leave out of town.
I just had a prior horrible experience at Car X for being scammed. I took my car back even though I didn't want too but I had paid for repairs that did not fix my car. I was told to bring it back the next morning ( Thursday 12/26) which, I had to have my car towed there once again at 9am. However it was going on 3pm and haven't heard back from Car X for any updates so I went up there just to be told they don't know anything about my car that nobody looked at my car. The manager was gone for a family event. They didn't even attempt to call me to inform me anything and everyone up there just said " I don't know" " I don't know". My car has been sitting in the lot since 9am and it was never looked at. I am 7 months pregnant, already stressed enough and CarX just made my stress levels go up so much, I had a breakdown at work. I have been having no luck with CarX the past week. I want my money back for a repair that was not needed. They diagnosed a problem based on identify fix. com or I want my car fixed and they be held responsible for the cost. I will never go back there. I have been a loyal customer since 2009 and since changing managers and mechanics, they have went down hill. Will not recommend to anyone.
