Date: 7/3/2021 - client number [protected] - The receipt has an ID number on it: "VILC13006" I asked for Shampoo and Conditioner. Paid for my husband's haircut and the products and went out to breakfast. While waiting for my food I looked at the products in my purse and realized they gave me the Conditioner, but instead of shampoo they gave me a "hair mask" product that was $8 more than the shampoo. We finished breakfast and went back across the street to HC and tried to exchange the product. They said we can only give you store credit. I left ALL the products I paid for and walked out. One hour later and your people would not budge. They kept looking at a new shiny books on procedures and said "no you paid with a debit card. We can only give you store credit!" What the heck! It was their fault I left with the wrong product; they should have honored the even exchange and maybe give me $5 store credit. Using a debit card is much safer than a credit card! But I will NEVER buy product from Hair Cuttery again especially when the stylist put the wrong product in my hand. I would rather get a full refund of $50.98. It was their fault! The manager said "it's printed on your receipt". The receipt was emailed and not in hand. I came home and printed it and no where does it state that policy. No wonder you're going out of business! That lucky stylist got a tip based on the total sale including the products. That's another rip-off you pull when the transaction goes through.
Desired outcome: Refund me for the cost of the products I returned to the store
