Aspen Dental - Fraudulent anesthesia billing codes/improper legal informed consent/refusal to obtain informed consent

I currently have a complaint opened against Adam Kiefer "DDS - Delinquent Denture Salesman" and Jan Slapnicka, "DDS - Delinquent Deep Sedater" with the Indiana Dental Association and the Indiana Attorney General. Indiana is one of the states that has already sued Aspen once, settlement dated 10-22-15. I was given informed consent papers by Aspen employees without ever having any contact with either the general dentist (Kiefer) or Slapnicka (oral surgeon). The treatment plan indicates billing for deep sedation/general anesthesia, however, the consent reads "intravenous sedation/general anesthesia. This consent is fraudulent as "Intravenous" does not describe the degree of sedation - there are 3 - minimal, moderate, and deep sedation/general anesthesia. This is important because with minimal and moderate sedation, the airway is maintained without intervention and spontaneous breathing is maintained without intervention. When you get into deep sedation, the airway becomes compromised as does spontaneous breathing, however, due to the continuum of depth of sedation, anyone administering deep sedation MUST be prepared to RESCUE A PATIENT FROM GENERAL ANESTHESIA and general anesthesia has the risk of the airway frequently needing intervention and spontaneous breathing is most likely inadequate. From a legal standpoint, there are 2 different permits to administer sedation - one for moderate and a separate permit for deep/general. The ASA guidelines clearly state that a non-anesthesiologist administering deep sedation must be 100% devoted to that task and therefore cannot be the same personal performing the surgical procedure. Aspen is claiming their surgeon can do both. One of two things is happening - they're either administering deep/general illegally or their actually administering conscious sedation and they're lying about it to overcharge. I called 16 oral surgeons in my town and consistently got estimates for conscious or moderate sedation ranging between $500 and $440. Aspen wants to charge me $1043. That's almost 2-1/2 times as much as virtually everywhere else. The most relevant case law I'm finding on this is actually the case of Conrad Murray - the doctor who went to prison for killing Michael Jackson with propofol. Aspen has not right to be so ambiguous about their anesthesia services. My name is Gail Kytta, [protected], 704 S. Kenmore Dr. Evansville, IN 47714. I'm known at the Indiana Attorney General's office as the Hoosier Erin Brockovich.
