At approx. 6:35pm I went to Office Depot Max Located at 7074 Siegen Lane Baton Rouge, La. 70809. A Young lady by the name of Brittnay, I believe her name was, was assisting with a customer in the back of the store at the cutting board, she told me she'll be right with me. Meanwhile, I stood by the registration counter to wait for someone to assist me in a fax. While standing a young gentlemen, Mason came out from the back and looked directly at me, and proceeded to help a Caucasian Gentleman who was just walking into the building . I said, "Really?, Really?, " ...He looked at me and said very sarcastically, with both arms stretched out beside his waist, and stretched his neck forward, and said, "What?, What?...Im helping him I dont even work behind that counter, " and he proceeded to help the gentleman, who had just walked in. He never said, Im sorry ma'am I'll get someone, or I'm sorry ma'am for your wait we're short staff, even though the gentleman had just walked in, Nothing, he just proceeded with his sarcastic remark and walked off with the gentleman. A few minutes after waiting the young lady, Brittany, whispered, and mouthed to me that Mason did in fact worked behind the counter to where I was waiting. Meanwhile another worker, within the store came over to assist me, and apologized to me several times, and also said that Mason doesnt usually act that way toward costumers, and she again apologized, and also gave me a $10 Discount coupon. As she was tallying up my fax, Mason then walked up and proceeded to do something behind the very same counter where the printers, and fax machines were, where he said he didnt even work, and proceeded to do something.
My take on this situation that everyone is stressing right now, but we suppose to continue with profound customer service during this trying time, I'm a Healthcare worker no one is more stressed out that we are, and I handle at least 2000 patients a day listening to their medical complaints and non-medical circumstances, and I never conduct myself with this type of attitude, and given the fact that they want everyone to stay confined, it was upon my on accord to go to your place of business to conduct business and spend my money, with people loosing their jobs and out of work, I would never mishandle a customer the way I was handled, and you wonder why situation as to what the world is going through right now, is the reason, because of people like him, and the way he and others treat people, with no respect, or integrity. I appreciate any concern and time you may have spent in reference to my concern, but out of the care and concern of others that may be handled as such, I'm relaying this message.
