Meijer - management

I am completely appalled with the way the store is managed. I am a former employee that got harassed in front of the whole store by the GM line leader Joyce Mclaughlin. It was unprofessional in every way, I sure hope that she is fired or released from her current duties, I had no problem prior to this incident. I showed up for work did my job and never started an altercation so I don't deserve to be disrespected like this. I am not in anyway expecting anything from Meijer I am just putting my word out there, what I do what is for Meijer management to start respecting there employee's much better. I understand the workforce is in a stressful time but that mean to treat others like that. SO TOXIC

Meijer - Being greeted in the Brighton, MI 48116 store

Upon entering the store I was welcomed by an employee with the name of Lucy. What Lucy said to me upon my entrance was, “Welcome to the land of, ‘I don’t give a [censored] what you’re here to buy today, we probably don’t have any of it anyway!’ You might as well just of stayed home and ordered off of shipt so you could pay double the money to get whatever it was that you came here to get today which was just ‘jack-[censored]’ #bye” Now I like to think that I have a high tolerance for other peoples [censored] so I just went on about my business to get what I came to get that day for my weekly grocery shopping so I decided to stay. Then as I am walking around the store so was Lucy not following me just strolling through out the aisles and such way longer than 15 minutes. Anyway as she was strolling through out the aisles she was asking random people to take some pictures of her with some of the stuffed animal merchandise located through out the store, then this gentleman who smelled as if he had not taken a shower in the entire last year walks up to her and just starts kissing her in the middle of the aisle while starting to basically dry hump her by all of the kids toys in the back of the store by the kids bicycles and such. This then got out of hand so I decided to get the rest of my things and leave the store. While leaving the store I am up front by the self checkout line by the pharmacy and I start hearing this cart pusher employee with the name of Donald (He prefers to just be referred to as Don, I learned after asking him what his name was after witnessing the following event) talking about the nice young store greeter’s eyeball not fully being developed yet and her inability to not ‘wink’ at him as he completes his task of obtaining the carts and his ability to impress her with his professional ability to, “Lift things and women up and down, up and down.” I then found this very unprofessional as well and that was just 2 weeks ago. I have not been back to Meijer’s since because of the inappropriate things that I saw while I was there shopping as a customer and the way that some of the current staff that currently work there had behaved while I was shopping for some simple groceries. This greatly upsets even me, my close family has worked at a Meijer’s location since they first opened their business. It has almost been a staple that before you left high school you had worked at meijer’s. Now I might come across a little bit bias because of my family’s relationship with working at Meijer’s, but my girlfriend was also looking for a job and was thinking off working at the Brighton Meijer’s but I suggested she just go and work at a store that had the simple ability to not be inappropriate at work after sharing my last shopping trip at a Meijer’s location especially the one I grew up shopping at even as a little kid. Either way I was left disgusted.

Desired outcome: My desired outcome is that those two specific employees be fired immediately

Meijer - not carrying a food item

Why don't you carry Sanders Hot Fudge topping in the plastic tube. I do all my grocery shopping at Meijer as you have the best produce in town, however, you don't carry Sanders Hot Fudge topping in the plastic tube. Wal*Mart carries it, but I don't want to travel to another store for one item. Perhaps, Wal-Mart has a better idea!

I spent $145.08 this morning, 1-7-20 at 8:30 am and had to wait 20 minutes in the check-out line as there was only one check-out open out of 26 check-out stations. Totally unacceptable! Also, there was six customers in front of me waiting to be checked out. Whoever does cashier scheduling does an awful job. You are going to loose customers unless you do better.Pl ease correct this problem or I will be forced to do my shopping at Kroger.
