On Jan 18,2024 I had an appointment with Petco for grooming for my daughter's dog.I specifically asked the groomer to give the dog a bath,haircut,nails cut,teeth brush.I specifically asked her not to shave or cut the Genital area.When I went back to pick him up I noticed he had been cut in the private area.I asked the groomer did she cut him down there,and she said no.When I got the dog home he was whining and kept licking his private area.this kept going on for a couples of days,so we took him to the groomers to realize the clippers had irritated his Genital area,and because of this his private area became inflamed and red and he ended up with an infection.
Claimed loss: It served no purpose of getting the dog groomed just to have this situation happen.
Desired outcome: We would like our money refunded back for the grooming as well as get our money back for the vet bill and his medications.

Petco - have not received pictures nor response from store/photographer
On June 2, 2012, My husband and I scheduled our puppy for grooming at 7:00 a.m. purposely to take photos scheduled for 10:00 a.m. The photos were taken and paid for through the PETCO store. On the receipt it is written that it will take 21 days for delivery and if there is a problem to call 855-Pets-111. Well, there is a problem that is not being resolved. We have not received the photographs and when I call the Roseville store I have directed to various store managers. All managers state that the photography company was overwhelmed with client turnout. I was given a direct number. I have phoned and left unresponsive messages. This has been the continuous behavior from this store. I a refund, yet being told that the store received the money for the pictures as a "Third Party" vendor. This is not good customer relations, possibly borderline fraud. I am going to take legal action and report this complaint to the BBB and Attorney General.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
i had pictures taken in flordia petco june 2, i saw the photos on line and they came out great thats how far i got never got them went to store and manager sorry took my name went back to store again sorry she said i paid over 100 dollors for these pictures. i was getting pissed because i wanted these pictures of my furry kids called the main petco she asked for my name and phone number no phone call there theifs so i went back to petco store and i asked for my money back which i used my atm card and she did so try that they should give your money back i did
I had my dogs pictures taken in MAY and it is September 3rd. I have still not received any pictures. I have been calling Petco all summer and the only thing they can tell me is that they are working with the photography company to come to some kind of agreement. When I asked for a refund, Petco said because they were used as a third party, they can not refund me for the pictures I paid 50 bucks for! I called Petco again this morning and the store manager told me she is aware of the problem. The photo company does not work for Petco anymore and Petco is now giving refunds. She is going to call me back today to give me more information.
Same problem in Lake Zurich Illinois Petco. Ordered photos July 15, 2012 and its now August 26 2012. Calling 855-PETS-111. http://www.petcoportraits.com goes straight to voicemail and no one ever responds. We called the store and they told us to wait another week and if they don't show up we can go back to the store for a refund.
Just keep posting about this at every site you can find including review sites. Lets get the word out about these criminals.
I am also having the same problem with the Novato store. I had my pics taken June 8, 2012. I've been trying to contact someone since mid July. It's now the end of Aug. I've asked Petco about this all Summer and they kept saying my pictures should be sent soon. Today I called Petco and they just told me that the company has had a problem and they're working on it. When I asked what the problem was the employee told me she couldn't tell me. I reminded her that I paid Petco for my pictures and this makes Petco look bad. She said she'd have the manager call me later today. We'll see... I will probably never use Petco for anything again.
I am going exactly through the same thing. We algo took pictures of our dog at Petco and have not received anything. It has been over two months now. I am looking into what I can do regarding this.
