I was at the A& W restaurant in Taylor around 11:00 a.m. 7/12/2023. My order was for $21.79. I used my debit card and when I checked my account later that day, I was charged 3 times. When I called the restaurant, I asked to speak to the manager whose name is Roy. I explained what happened and he said I would have to come in with my receipt. I told him I did not live in the area and could he just correct it on his end. He said I had to come in; I was upset and he was very rude and hung up on me.
Awhile later, he called back and said to give him my last 4 digits of my debit card and he could refund me one of the two overcharges. He then proceeded to say it wasn't working and I would have to come in. I told him that I would be calling the owner Frank tomorrow and talk with him about it.
This manager has not been trained in customer service and is very, very unprofessional. I will not be going back to this restaurant in the future.
Desired outcome: I would like to see my two overcharges credited to my account and to have this manager go through customer service training.
