I had an incident today (11/22/2020) with a PetSmart worker. My dog was a little anxious around her and she was very dismissive towards me. I had asked her for a treat and she said that they were not giving out treats. Well, the register next to her had asked for a treat and gave it to them. Sounds a little unethical to me. So, from that point checking out, I was a little annoyed and I could tell that she was too. My dog could also feel that tension therefore he started growling and barking. From that point I just knew I would not be returning here at this PetSmart. After I had walked away from the register and gathering the items with the person I was with, another customer had mentioned that they would of just kept their dog in the car. The worker had then laughed. As you can see it was a stressful and tremendously unprofessional transaction that had happened. I honestly just wanted to let you know what had occurred so that in a situation where a stressed or anxious pet comes in, they don't just dismiss them and not handle the transaction as if they were dealing with any other customer. Please correctly train your associates around stressful dogs and have a nice day.
