La Quinta Inns & Suites - Customer service

Laquita in Belgrade Montana is terrible. Do not go here or waste your money. The door to the room looks like it’s been kicked in! Reviews are 1-2 stars at best. If I had a negative star I would give it to them. We were traveling on I-90 and hit a deer. My husband, myself and my two children. This was at 10:30 at night we had to limp to the nearest hotel with the police offer following us. Blood was all over the car, and the deer was half hanging out the front. It had to be towed to the nearest Chevrolet dealer in Bozeman. Waiting for the town truck we got to the room at 1am. Laquita was well aware if the damage as the truck was in the front and keys given to the front desk for the tow truck. Stranded we only could get gas station food because we hadn’t ate. The microwave didn’t work. And had to be moved to different outlets because some of the outlets weren’t working. In the morning we made our claim and had to get a rental car. We called down to the front desk and talked to the assistant manager Krystal. We asked for a late checkout because of everything that had happened and we had to make the claim and get the rental car. We paid $322.76 for the night which is high even especially with doors that looked like they’ve been kicked in. We were told no, it was unbelievable. We asked for just one hour because our kids had been through a lot and the rental car wouldn’t be there for an hour and the kiddos being in that bad of a wreck will still sleeping since they didn’t get to the room until 1. We were still told no, that it would put them behind. I then went and talked to the assistant manager who said that’s just the way it is and if we are in there at 1130 she will then charge a whole day. The customer service is horrible, your nothing but a number, and their personal policies that she quoted is unfathomable that you would do that to someone who just went through that! I then started reading reviews and several are 1 star 2 stars and I personally wish we had a negative star button. I had to wake up my kids rush them to get dressed after an already rough night. I get policies and procedures I write them for companies. But you can always deviate when customer service requires it. A major car crash that you know happened, no vehicle, and children having no sleep you would think they could deviate by an hour. Go somewhere that wants business long term, more than once. They clearly don’t!
