I am writing this to complain about Emily (general manager) at 180 Concord Commons Place SW. Yesterday, my significant other attended the gym for workouts. Her account was still active, yet her payment was late, and she attended to pay on Friday. She explained to Cindy how the Planet Fitness she previously went to would allow her to continue to work out as long as the account was active. Cindy then requested assistance from Emily who came out and said, "nope cannot workout." My significant other than proceeded to explain what how the Planet Fitness she previously went to would allow her to continue to work out as long as the account was active, but she is willing to pay it at that present moment rather than Friday. Emily advised her after looking at her ID she needs to go back to where she came from! How ignorant, belligerent, and disrespectful can a Planet Fitness staff member be. After feeling violated my significant other stood up for herself and let Emily know she was wrong! Emily then contacted Concord Police department who allowed my significant other to continue to work out! Emily, you put my partner in harm's way. You attempted to cause my partner harm for your ignorance and uncouth behavior! As an African American woman, you do not tell them to go back to where they belong! You're a disappointment to the Planet Fitness community as we've been members over 3 years! I need and deserve a resolution!
