Purchased this living room as cash payment no financing during the pandemic. Internet Order#15142644I - I received the living room set 10/30/2020. My husband stated on day of delivery the color was a little off to him but I dismissed it and thought maybe it was just the lighting in the room. We received the ottoman to the set 12/2020 and noticed the difference immediately in the shades of gray. We went into the store once the pandemic eased up and stores were opening up with CDC guidelines to take another look at the set. Upon sitting on the couch we also noticed not only the color was definitely different from what we received but the couch seating on display in the showroom was much firmer than ours! We contacted Rooms to go and they sent a care tech out on 5/17/2021 and he agreed the color was off and pillows were flimsy and he tried to spray it with some substance to firm the pills up; didn't work! He asked my husband to text him the pictures of our couch versus the pictures we took of the showroom living room set. The tech stated they could not upholster it but possibly just replace the set it was up to his manager and to give them 7-10 days for decision to get back with us. Today is day 11, I spoke to Care Tech on chat name Jennifer B at 1:50pm and she stated "according to the results of this service it has been found that the sinking is due to normal usage which is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty, and no vendor defects were found. Due to the amount of time that the furniture has been in the home we are unable to replace it due to the color being off as this would have needed to be reported sooner."
Desired outcome: I would like the couch either replaced or some money refunded since it was a cash payment not financed.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
