March 22 . 2019, a yearly inspection fee resulted in losing my car, spending hundreds in rentals, a citation, 50 dollar increase in auto insurance. Manger said brakes need fixing(nothing noticeable ) but I could take the car home and park it until I wanted to get the brake fixed--over 500 dollars. As I was backing out of the parking lot, the brakes gave and I backed into their building. I filed a claim with Firestone, manager said I was told the car wasn't safe to drive but I took it anyway. What, a 75 year old widow would do such a thing ? Claim denied due to his lie. I have suffered emotionally and financially. Why do you keep ignoring. ?

3? 22/2019: took car in for yearly inspection. I was an easy target, a widow elderly with no family left.
Manager said all 4 brakes needed fixing. I had no clues there was anything wrong.
Manager said I could drive the car home and part it, bring it back when I could get brakes fixed — over 500 dollars and I live on social security. That is why I was in the car, I trusted him.
As I was backing out braes gave and I backed into their building. I filed a claim #2355933. Manager lied saying I was told the car was unsafe to drive but I took it anyway. Who would believe such a tale as that.? So Firestone believed him and I lost my car, hundreds of dollars, got a citation (I had a perfect driving record) So Firestone made me the liar and I have suffered emotionally and financially. In my life I have been a good honest person, and would not lie. I just wanted enough help to get a decent used car. I cannot believe the uncaring you have shown. Store 10545 High Point NC 27262

No one will listen to me. I have been trying for months to report the manager lied about what he told me to do with the car. He told me to drive it home and park it and bring it back when I could get the brakes fixed. I took it in for an inspection 3/22/2019. This store had done over 2000 dollars of work on the car less than a year before. The car failed inspection due to bad brakes so they said. News to me for I had no indication. I am a widow, living on social security, a recently bereaved Mother so I put my trust in these people I was in the car, the rakes failed as I was backing up and I hit their building. I filed a claim with Firestone Corporate. The manager told them I was told the car was not safe to drive but I took it anyway. Who would be so stupid. My claim was denied. My car was deemed totaled because insurance wouldn't pay that much on a 2002 car. I didn't have the money to get a used car. I lost thousands, plus the experience was degrading
Firestone Complete Auto Care - Back break shoes replaced
I left my 93 vehical to have new back breaks placed on my vehical following a front end elinement did the week before. The cost for this simple project has blown into a cost that can only be referred to as remarkable. I left my 93 Ford Ranger at 7:00 am yesterday morning and was contacted last night with a cost of nearly $600. Subsequently, contacted again with break in line and a further cost with labor and parts to something that was not even a problem to began with. I still have heard no news today and wondering if something else is going to come into play. My number is [protected]. Please give me a call if anyway possible. Thank you, respectfully.
