Ingles Markets - Managers

I work at ingles market for only 3 weeks now and I have wrote down my availability for my Scheduling manger and she still has put me down for days that I am not available then saying it is my fault if I don’t come in on a day that I’m schedule even though I am not available and she has changed my availability with out asking or notifying me about changing it and I have talked to her multiple times about this issue and she has not fixed it and she still does it regardless of our conversations

Ingles Markets - Balloons

DOS Sunday September 12, 11am.

I've been having balloons blown up at ingles for years. And let me make a point to say not one single person has ever given me a hard time over it. My sister and I showed up at Ingles in Mills River, NC to have balloons blown up for my daughters first birthday. Right off the bat I walked in very understanding with plenty of time because I know it's not the funnest job. The morning manager came off as rude to me as soon as I mentioned balloons. After a few minutes when he came over, I told him how many I had and his reply to me was "you can call ahead of time for this you know." Very informative because we did not know this, but his tone was extremely sarcastic. Following, he called another worker over and told her how many balloons - she also made a face about it in front of us. They began blowing up balloons for us, and a third worker showed up to give me a price. This worker informed me she had "been called out of lunch for this." I fired back that I was sorry and that sometimes I have to work through lunches, too. Because at that point I had had it with the attitude. After giving me my price, I had double checked with her to make sure she included the bigger balloons, too - and she rolled her eyes and sighed at me. A few minutes later, the manager informed me that from here on out, I needed to use their balloons and not ones I bought because they aren't as good - "and we charge you the same price regardless." Compelled negating there was an obvious theme of the balloons that they couldn't have supplied me with.

I'm writing a complaint because in my ENTIRE working experience, I have never been allowed to treat my patients as such and I'm not even considered customer service. It's severely unprofessional, and seems to be a reflection of the entire staff - since I had THREE people in a 20 minute time span make me feel horrible for having balloons for my daughters birthday. If they aren't willing to offer that service, then they need to remove the balloons. I'm well aware this will probably have everyone rolling their eyes because BALLOONS and we all know how big of a pain they are - but I don't think it's very hard to carry yourself with some mild understanding and patience, especially when you offer a service in your facility. It didn't have to be a bad experience. My sister and I started out very understanding, and were willing to wait as long as we needed to make it easy on everyone, and the energy was definitely not reciprocated.
