Started service last year 2020. Bins was delivered new and professionally. Trash pickup was getting missed. Customer Support stated due to new being added to route, understandable. Pickups was made by REPUBLIC SERVICES pickup truck and handle professionally. Neighbors informed me the driver Scott stated that my pickup added time to his route and that he liked to end his day early. However, when missed pickup I contacted Customer Support. There was so many missed pickups that a Supervisor named Tony contacted me this Spring 2021 and said that the driver Scott was afraid of getting stuck on turn around. The ground is solid and not once has he had an issue with turning around or even sinking or getting stuck. Tony came out and saw with his on eyes that there wasn't even tire marks from the trash truck. Tony asked me if I would put down some gravel so that the driver could feel confident. I told Tony that if I paid to have gravel put down for the drive to feel confident REPUBLIC SERVICES would have to reimburse me. The following week I received an increase on charges. Remind that from that date no missed pickups until July4th week. Our trash was to run normal. My trash was missed. I called Friday Customer Support schedule a pickup from Monday. Monday my daughter told me there was a Budget Moving truck in our yard. I stepped on porch the driver of the Budget Moving truck stated the that the driver of my route said he want be coming to pick my trash up when it rains. Mind that I didn't ask anything. They took me bins that was new and replaced with dirty and damaged bins. I took pictures and called customer support. I stated that it was unprofessional and bins that the two men left was tore up. She schedule for clean bins to be brought back out this week and escalated the complaint especially that I felt that this was being done to me and not my neighbors and because of the color of my skin. Mr. Tony the supervisor called me the next day with more excuses as to why the driver choose not to pickup. However, I explained to him my complaints was solely based on the unprofessional manner of providing a service that also just got increased. Tony threatened me that if his driver gets stuck that he would bill me over $800.00 and suggested that I stop paying and take my trash to the landfill myself. I reminded Mr. Tony that REPUBLIC SERVICES has this contract. There are other companies but REPUBLIC SERVICES is responsible to provide the SERVICES of Trash and Recycling. Today the Budget Moving truck came and my neighbor called and stated that the man was waiting on me. I come out of my house his name was Michael. He said that he was told to let me pick which bin I wanted. He warned all the bins that was in the back of the BUDGET MOVING TRUCK was Dirty and Bad. They was horrible the one that he put down look like it had I don't want to mention on here. It took two Big Clorox containers to clean the bins. However the rust and damage could not be cleaned. I was told by Customer Support clean bins would be replaced, not my neighbor having to call me out my house to pick out of dirty bins. However I see that REPUBLIC SERVICES is going to allow this to be their service even though clearly the DISCRIMINATION and constant harassment with an increase on charges. I recorded the incident today. I have been given no other choice.
Desired outcome: An apology, and a discount for cleaning REPUBLIC SERVICES bins. No more harassment from Tony and just provide the SERVICES I pay for in a timely and professional manner.
