I approached the cashier, short heavy weight, may be slightly retarted, very loud.
I stopped behind the line marked on the floor waiting for the customer ahead to leave, due to the coronavirus.
I started to step ahead for my items to rung up. She immediately start yelling at me super loud that other customers looked at me as if like I did something to her.
I was in shock and jumped back. She was so loud that I hardly knew what she said. My hearing is excellent for an 74 year old man.
She then grabbed her spray bottle almost in a threating way. I moved to the next line. I realized she was going to wipe everything down.
I complained to the next cashier man. I wanted to talk to someone. Just to tell them she needs an altitude change when speaking to a customer. I realized on leaving other customers going out were taken aback. When I went into the parking lot a couple were talking about her to saying they don't like her she is always that way.. Another man said they don't like her and avoid her.
I have seen her at Walmart and other places with her husband many times she is also hollering and bossing him around { their own business }.
I have shopped in this store for as long as it has been here. three four times a week plus the mount morris store about two or times a week. Spending $50.00 to $100.00 each time. Both stores are in Livingston county ny.
If they had worked for me they would be in the office asp. Their paycheck depends on the customer.
I owned and ran many companies retired when I was 44. Now 74.
I am complaining today because I am great pain today sure did not need this today. A polite saying could have been " give me a second sir I have to [or will} wipe the counter and glass shield first ". Just like the other cashier said to me when I went to him.
