Save-A-Lot Pick 5 Mix & Match Chicken Wings

On March 14, 2024 at 9:58am
I purchased (4) bags of Pick 5 Mix & match Chicken wings from floor display freezer upon returning home took (2) of the bags out placed in cold water to unthaw and prepared for cooking I noticed that the chicken looked dark pale so I proceed to cook in oven at required instructions and made macaroni and cheese within half an hour after eating I got very sick and checking the left over chicken had a bad order I've tried several attempts to contact Save -A-Lot and no answer

Desired outcome: Refund back to EBT card $23.92

Save-A-Lot All produce

Every single time I visit the Save a Lot on Ellis Ave., in Jackson, MS the price posted and the price charged is higher. I am tired of having to get someone to correct the price I am charged at the check out. Today, September 29, 2024, celery was posted as $1.49 and I was charged $2.49. This is a poor area of Jackson, MS and I feel we are being taken advantage of

Save-A-Lot I am completing about the general manager who's not doing his job at all in any area

I have been going in to save that for many years and I have been getting with a manager/general manager that is not like his job he's miserable he's mean everyday when there are things that run out he purposely does not reorder them because he knows I get them I am going in to get fudge even have purposely reorder them and it has been missing and gone off the shelves for 3 months I have tried to order Hawaiian rolls I have try to get fudge caramel ice cream bars chicken fingers corn on the cob Pizza he is purposely not ordering them I think that is very rude when I asked him why he does not smile or why he's so rude he doesn't answer me he's very disrespectful he doesn't smell he doesn't talk to anybody he does not like his job I don't know why he's working there then save that on ISB and Nova is the the worst store ever to go to

Claimed loss: I have cleaned off I have lost a lot of meals because of his diligence I have lost a lot of good days because he's miserable and on everybody else and he makes everybody else mad and mean and miserable like him

Save-A-Lot Managers

I think corporate needs to investigate Columbia, KY Save-a-lot office managers and their actions. Is it ok to send 18 year old in meat department without any training or interview for position? Yet later fires him for not doing something that was never trained to do? Is it ok to have relations with married men? Is OSHA ok of misusing equipment? How appropriate is it to piggie back ride on someone back (manager) and flirting with underage employees? Question I believe need to be looked into. Because Manager at Columbia KY save-a-lot are doing this and more which needs to be looked into. If asked current and past employees all will say same thing about all 3 managers. Manager sleeping a hangover off while other doing her job stating she working when she not? Check records. How one manager has relationships but when don't workout has gm to fire them ( 4 people).

Desired outcome: Demote the managers. They think they are untouchable. Set an example.

On August 6th approximately 12:00 p.m. the manager cashier and camera operator runway accused my daughter stealing would not show proof of camera called cops on a public key humiliated me my daughter is only 15 that store location needs to be shut down due to all the violence around it the people that hang out around it and it is a very trashy location

Save-A-Lot Managerial Change -- Paulsboro, NJ location

I understand there has recently been a Managerial change at the Save A Lot Paulsboro, NJ location. As a long time customer, I have to tell you, customers, like myself, are NOT happy with the change.

The former Manager and his staff were very helpful and friendly. The shelves were always full. They would always ask you if you could find what you needed.

Selection was good. Now, just the opposite is true.

Residents from 3 communities have just lost our big box grocery store. The Save A Lot is/was our only alternative, unless we wanted to travel some TEN MILES one way to do our shopping. It was very evident, the Paulsboro Save A Lot had picked up substantial business, since the closure of our big box grocery store. Now, customers cannot depend upon the Paulsboro Save A Lot for their grocery needs. What a shame!

Desired outcome: Bring back the former Manager and his staff. Customers were treated better. Selection was better.

Save-A-Lot Close early

I pulled up at the store on Terry parkway at 7:50 and the employee told me the store was closed. I told him it's not 8 pm yet and he td me they close at 7:45. I told him that the sign says 8 pm and he told me they ose for 7:45. I'm trying to understand why employees are closing the store at 7:45 instead of 8pm. The sign should say 7:45 instead of 8.

Save-A-Lot Tomatoes

I went into this store at 1230 S James Rd, Columbus to buy roma tomatoes because they were on sale for $.89 /lb. The cashier recorded my tomatoes as tomatoes on the vine for $2.49/lb. I bought 2.87 lb worth of roma tomatoes and got charged for tomatoes on the vine.I didn't know on time and I just feel unhappy about it. I hope they can train their staff better to to differentiate products.

Save-A-Lot Mantia's lasagna with meat sauce

Product looks nothing like the picture on the box. Upon opening, viewing with plastic still on, there was barely and cheese shreds on the top. Sauce appeared brown not red like tomato sauce. Tasted bad.

*** Noticed it says, contains Bioengineered food ingredients on the back in small print. Would never had bought had I noticed on label.

I took photos while still in plastic.

Was not edible, tried a couple bites. Had stomach ache later that evening and next morning.

Hello, I purchased a bag of the J.Higgs puffcorn( cheese). It is stale as all as out doors. It was purchased today 5/21/23. At save-a-lot. Very dissatisfying and I am requesting a full refund. I see why they were on sale for 2 for $3.00. The expiration date is 6/13/2023. The product is very stale. That's all that I can tell you. I will be waiting for your response, Thank you

Save-A-Lot Unsafe conditions in store

Emergency exit has been blocked every time I have shopped there for several years. Have spoken with employes numerous times with no change. The manager says it complies with code! Only option I have is to contact the state fire marshal's office for their help. Don't want to have to do that. I think the manager just does not know what the fire code is and how dangerous that situation can be.

Desired outcome: Want emergency exits to be unobstructed as required by life safety code for the safety of shoppers!

Save-A-Lot Hours of operation

Hello,

I frequently patronize the Sav-a-Lot location in New Orleans at 4726 Paris Avenue. I regularly get off of work at 8:00 pm from the hospital where I work as a nurse. For the past 6 months or longer, every time I get to the store they are closed, but according to your website, they are supposed to remain open until 9pm. I like the store because it's so close to my home and I can run in/out if I need something.

Desired outcome: I'd like for someone from the Regional/ Corporate offices (like the program undercover boss) to visit the store without telling them who or when you are coming. Then you can see that they continually close @ 8:00pm.

Save-A-Lot outdated policy

my best friend just got a job with yall . and im really upset about a few thing. the boss told her she had to dye her hair. she has red and black hair (looks great) cause yall dont aloud multicolor hair.and that she has to cover all tattoos. this is not 1950s. the boss told he to think about if she order food and someone can out with tattoos and color hair wouldnt she want someone clean to bring her food out. she is clean the cleanest person i know. my momma raise me not to discriminate! and to me thats discrimination!
