Went to Monticello office. Husband has Alzheimer's. I was able to sit in treatment room first few visits. Goal was an upper denture. He had tooth extractions before to prep. Before Covid hit. The then office manager told me denture was $399. I brought money. The dentists nurse is a nasty [censored]. As soon as we returned and went to treatment room she wagged her finger and said you can't come in have a seat in waiting room. I said well look in his chart. The patient has Alzheimer's and requests me his wife and caregiver to be with him. She said well I'll have to speak to my Boss the Dentist. He has final word. She told me to go in treatment room. I asked her if he's getting fitted for upper as planned. No she says he needs fillings. I said well lSt visit I'm told to bring $399 for fitting to begin. She walk out of room and Dentist comes in. Dr. Arbelo. Looks at me and says "you have a seat in waiting room! I asked why? Not a problem before why now? Replied" I want to treat MY patient alone. So I went to waiting room. I stopped at desk to speak to the "Manager" who seemed very nice and apologetic. Told me whole staff was let go! And this is new staff. I show her bill for $80 I was told 3 times not responsible for. Suddenly she says "the former Manager wrong. And then says the charge is $550 for denture! I said omg no way. I have $399 quote on a bill. Again blamed on former manager who misquoted? I'm warning anyone who thinks of going here not to. The
Office has no idea what's owed what should be owed and this Dentist upset my husband. When we left office he was crying and confused. 1. Why I couldn't stay with him and why isn't he getting teeth. My husband suffers now from loss of teeth. And the suffering mentally by this dental office. I did call headquarters and was told someone would get back to me. They did. The lady couldn't belive how we were treated. I came home today to this letter I had to sign for by Dr Arabelo.
