We purchased an LG French Door Refrigerator 13 months ago and it has been a headache since day one. We have never had a fully functioning ice maker. The ice maker in the door first would not dispense ice or water. I had the repair man come out who was contracted by LG. He found the auger motor on the ice maker was not working. He ordered a new one it came after 10 days and when he went to install it found that it was not the right part. We went another 10 days and the new part came in and was installed. It finally worked but was always slow and hard to use. We now have no ice maker at all it seems after waiting a week for a repairman that the motor on the ice maker itself is now dead. In the meantime LG had to send someone out because they had a part not performing correctly for energy savings reported to the government. We now have to wait at least another 10 days for the new part for the refrigerator. LG does not care about service for their customers as proved over the past year and all the issues of sending wrong parts and taking forever to send them. I would never buy another LG appliance or any other product. I want a good product with decent fast service if needed this is certainly not the case with anything LG.

I have been unhappy with my LG since day 1. First, the crisper drawers were broken when it was delivered. They did ship me several more which should have been a clue that they break easy. Now my Digital Sensor Cover has fallen and I need service because of course it is out of warranty. No more LG for me!
