Good Morning,
My husband (Mitchell Allen) had booked a suite in this hotel for its close proximity to some points of interest and business dealings that we have in the Cincinnati area. The suite we were given was 600, upon entrance in the room we set our bags down, put away a few things, and proceeded on with our plans outside of the hotel. Later that evening upon our return we had noticed that the snacks and beverages we had placed in the fridge was still not cold after checking to make sure it was on its highest setting before leaving out. Causing our Chacuterie items to spoil (cheese sweating etc), couldn't even place our dinner leftovers in the fridge. The couch had so much glitter on it from previous guest that we used bath towels just to sit on the couch. Then when entering the bedroom, the door would not stay open without having to put an item on the floor to hold it in place. Once we went into the bathroom the door would not open fully to even be able to get to the toilet comfortably nor would it shut all the way cause its off center. The tub looks as if someone used a bathmat for years and once pulled up rust had set in the tub and cannot be removed, leaving us to not even want to use the bathroom much less that nasty shower! I have pictures and video of this room. However, I'm sure whoever is responsible for "cleaning" this floor/rooms are well aware that this suite has issues and therefore should've done their job and report them, so it's not passed on to unsuspecting consumers, until completely fixed! At the rate of people spending their hard-earned money to have services or lack thereof, is something that's extremely troubling and unacceptable!
Desired outcome: We would like total reimbursement of our money for this suite! We would also like to receive a timely response to our email of kia.[protected]@gmail.com in receipt of this complaint. Thank you so much.
La Quinta Inns & Suites - poor management. poor customers service
I was racially profiled at the La quita in Cincinnati Sharonvile location on friday.I decided to drive from columbus so that my daughter could celebrate her bday with her friends and family that live in Cincinnati. The front receptionist (Jeff) turned my guest away that was meeting me for dinner. He said that nobody could be in the rooms without reservations. I went on to tell Jeff that i was only having my family and friends meeting me at the hotel so we could leave for my daughter's dinner, they wasnt going to stay. Jeff was very rude and did not want to hear what i was saying. I asked Jeff "why didnt he call the room"? He said that he did. I never recieved a phone call. So then I went on to ask Jeff how could I upgrade my room so that we could be within fire code. He told me that I wasn't able to do that. I couldnt believe he was treating a customer like this. Jeff was not trying to help me at all! I didn't do anything to be treat the way Jeff treated me. I then asked to speak to a manager, and i was told she had left for the day. About 10 mins later the manger walks in. I told the manager what was going on and thought maybe she will be more helpful. Well the manager was. much worst then Jeff. She asked me were I was traveling from and why did my Id said I lived in Cincinnati? She said that i was having a party inside of the room and that it was prohibited to do so. I explain to her that i was not having a party. Then she pointed at my friend with her children and said "none of these people are staying". I then asked the manager her name and she said " I am not giving it to you". We asked for corporates number and she said google it. She then told me that she was going to let us buy another room, but if she hears a word from us she is kicking us out. I then asked her why is she treating us as if we don't know how to conduct ourselves?!? After that she told me that i had to leave.
