Olive Garden

I will start by saying I never complain bc I worked in this industry for 20 years and believe me, I get it but this experience tops the cake and something needs to be done about it. My family (7 of us) came into store #1347 on Fields Ertle Rd in Cincinnati Ohio on Sunday May 14th which was Mothers Day so we expected a wait. We arrived at 1230 and was told it would be a 30-40 min wait which we expected. We watched so many groups of the same size come in after us and get seated before us. At 1:30 I asked the hostess (Katlyn) for an explanation of whats going on she got really rude and offensive, telling me if I want to clean tables myself I can and she kept like "lunging" at me saying "come on, try me, u wanna try me, comeon?" with her fists balled. At this point I was beside myself and shaking in my boots with anger and then she, Katlyn, called me a b*#@h and when I asked her about that she walked away and I did not see her again. I asked another host for a manager and some girl came up, did not introduce herself, and said she would seat us now (it is now 2:00!) and we could have appetizers for the wait which we did not get bc I was not trying to get free food however, I really think Katlyn has no business being in a job where she needs hospitality and interaction with others. We came in to enjoy lunch with my mother, brother and kids and ended up irate before we even got seated. The service, food and promptness at the table was great thankfully. I did not want to say anything at the time due to being so mad I did not want to make a scene and I did not think it would even make a difference to complain at that level. I myself and my family will not be back to Olive Garden if employing people like Katlyn is your standard employee.
