We went into Sandusky, Ohio ABC Store. We loved our sales man Robert Taylor. Everything was going great. We ordered a black stainless fridge, black stainless stove, a LG dryer, and a chest freezer on the date of 9/24/17. We asked if it could be delivered on 9/29/17 Rob stated “no problem” the night before delivery we received a phone call at 8 pm at night. The Manger stated “your black stainless fridge and stove that you bought is not in stock” we continued to ask why he was calling the day before delivery and he stated “he just noticed, but we can switch to regular stainless and it’ll save us money” well we agreed even though we were beyond angry at the situation. An we never saw the price drop. The day of delivery I never received a phone call, nor a voicemail stating they would be there. I was at my house cleaning the bathroom and didn’t hear the door knock. When I went downstairs there was two pink letters in the door stating I missed the delivery. (No phone call, no voicemail) when I called the manager of abc warehouse he said (the truckers pushed the door bell and no one answered” I then told him the “door bell dosent work!” Why wouldn’t they knock if I didn’t answer to the door bell? I told the manager to just cancel our order because we were just beyond furious how everything was handled. “The manger then stated I’ll have them come back around if that’s okay” once again we accepted the offer thinking okay it’s going to be fine. Once they came back around the truckers said they couldn’t bring the fridge up the stairs because they were tired and ready to go home. Reminding you it was 1:20pm! So not only did we not get what we paid for with no discount, we also had to put the stuff in the garage because the delivery driver was tired.
We will no longer shop nor support abc warehouse. By far the worse service we’ve encountered.
