The Administration at the West Chester Campus is an absolute joke. It is one train wreck after another. Cannot manage to get clinicals lined up properly cannot manage to have actual instructors who have any clue what they are teaching they just read from a book or reply with "I don't know" when asked a question. Any type of complaint filed is "lost or never received" they have completely eliminated the pinning ceremony and only do graduation every 6 months even though their program is set for people to graduate every 3 months. The amount of money they charge is absolutely absurd and yet they continue to do this every single term to student. They treat people like crap. Piss poor excuse for an educator.
Hondros College of Nursing - I'd quit now
Good morning. I attend Hondros college of nursing. This is my second term. This has been one of the worst "educational" experiences of my life! We are just numbers to them. They have instructors who aren't really instructors. They are admin personnel filling in for the missing actual instructors. These "substitutes" are readers not teachers. They aren't giving us the fundamentals we need to properly care for patients. They are more concerned with attendance for the "quotas". We have clinicals that we sit around and do homework in instead of interacting with residents. We reached out to every higher up possible and we receive demeaning and negative follow up. I feel cheated, neglected and forgotten about. What happened to nurses don't eat their young? These employees of Hondros college are the most rude and insensitive people I have ever seen. They attack us. They talk down to us. They are very personal and unprofessional here at the west Chester campus. If it wouldn't mess up my financial aide I'd quit NOW. We pay so much money to attend this program there's no way this is acceptable! I have attached an email from one of our clinical instructors.
Hondros College of Nursing - Unnecessary classes
Attend a better school, one that hospitals respect. Hondros claims to offer better schedules but Dean Campbell will make sure your schedule interferes with your life. Don't tell her what can hurt you because she will do just that. If you tell her your child is in school, she will change your classes to when they get out. Dean Campbell will add unnecessary classes after registration increasing your cost. She will not answer emails for help but will email you to say negative things. Require attendance for some but not all. Attend Hondros west chester at your own risk, you will regret it.
Hondros College of Nursing - Wrongful dismissal
I as attending hondros for the lpn program at the west chester campus. after filing a complain against a faculty member the administration miracously was able to see the information on my facebook account. So monday I filed the complaint and informed the campus director I would be withdrawing. Tuesday I decide to stay and continue I only had a few months left. Wednesday I had surgery while at surgery I received an email with the appropriate use of social media policy. Come home from surgery go to sleep wake up to an email from the campus director telling me I cannot go to clinical but am to report to his office at 9am thursday. I replyed I couldnt because I would be unable to drive due to influence of prescription pain medications from surgery. I received a follow up email stating I was until further notice banned from the campus and clinical. Thursday roles around and I request a copy of all of my school records. Next thing I know I cannot log into the schools online dashboard, online education center, or my school email. Then I receive a phone call from the police asking me about what was going on at the school. I replyed I dont know whats going and told him what had happened since monday. He said the school had called the police and told them I threatened staff and students on facebook. Long story short I didnt and hondros college expelled me for wanting what is rightly mine. I didnt get due process in the expulsion Ijust had access to everything revoked. So now im sueing the school for reimbursement of ALL moneys paid to them from the time I started the LPN program to current day. and the only way I wont take this to court is if they refund ALL moneys paid to them from the time I started to now. because if I have to take them to court they will end up paying way more than just what I payed them out of pocket through loans and through grants. ill get them for court costs and the cost of my lawyer.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
@saywhat09 Did you file a lawsuit? If so what was the outcome
