Mathis Brothers Furniture - Unauthorized charges being added to customer invoices

We received unauthorized charges on our Matthias Brothers Furniture invoice from Tulsa store location; I am almost certain the same thing happened 7 years ago when we purchased several thousands of dollars in merchandise.

We have first hand information verifying that “we always add that to invoices automatically” — - $150 plus warranty never asked for or agreed upon.

Called and spoke with customer service twice and to sales agent once and made personal appearance at store; all of these contacts; I demanded that a refund in form of a check be mailed to us immediately only to get stalled with “well we will have to get approval for a refund by check; why don’t you just give us your credit card that you used and it will be easier”

My response was each time “you placed a an unauthorized charge on our invoice and you want me to make it easy on you?”

No, I demand you send me a check for the refund, Nobody I talked to so far even has taken this seriously which now leads me to believe they have been doing this for along time possibly and they need to be audited and investigated to make sure their are not many many more unsuspecting customers that have been charged additional fees that were never authorized by customers when making their purchases.

Claimed loss: $150 plus

Desired outcome: Check for the credit due be mailed to my home address or I can pick up at the store

Mathis Brothers Furniture - Bed frame

Purchased a bed frame about a year ago and purchased the Mathis membership so I could have it delivered and put together. Over time the screws keep falling out. I took the mattress off to check the frame only to see all screws were poorly screwed in and some areas are missing screws. There is even a crack in part if the frame where the screws are. Not acceptable. Frame need to be replaced or fixed.

Desired outcome: Replace frame or fix.

Mathis Brothers Furniture - sales incentives not delivered

On 8/10/19 I purchased $6300 of furniture from Mathis Brothers, including two mattresses, pads and adjustable bases with warranties. The senior sales person and mattress department manager convinced me to purchase the mattresses and bases with the commitment of receiving a $100 Visa gift card for each mattress, if I purchased that day. I purchased two mattresses and bases. The incentive promised was to help offset the extras (pads, warranties etc.). So I agreed and purchased that day. After more than 8 weeks I contacted the Sales person who gave me her phone number and asked where the Visa cards were. She quickly replied " thank you for getting in contact with me so I can make sure u receive those". I waited again and then on 11/16/19 I contacted the sales person again. Now no responses back. Mathis Brothers has been a horrible experience. First was a terrible "White Glove" delivery. One mattress was forgotten on the dock so the Delivery Manager wanted me to drive to their store at 8pm and strap it on top of my little Nissan Juke because they couldn't get anyone to deliver it with the rest of the order. Then this Visa gift card scam used to get people to buy that same day. I got scammed!
