I've been a regular customer of this store for the past 40 years as I live in the same area. Seeing a lot of changes in the store and the remodeling of the building and the recent parking lot changes. I arrived at the store at 1:45pm on Monday August 26 for ordering a lunch buffet. The store employee at the cashier named (Majid M.) charged me $7.99 (no drink) per order #31 transaction shown at 1:46pm for dine-in. I asked him if he would make a King Arthur pizza and he said I need to check on it if possible and then replied immediately he would do it. There was no other pizzas left except only two slices that I grabbed an sat. The manager named (Cole) showed up after about 10 minutes asking me if I was done eating and I answered no I'm still waiting for more pizza to come at the buffet. She replied no more pizza will be made after 1:30pm. I told her that I grabbed only two pieces and your cashier person didn't tell me anything in that regard and after she talked to the employee, she said that he told you that no more pizza is coming other than what was left already on the table. I told her that this was not the case otherwise I wouldn't get the buffet for only two slices left and she replied that this is it and you are claiming my employee is lying and I must apologizing to him. First of all, how could she make a judgment that I am lying when she was not present when I discussed it with the cashier. Ultimately, she did not believe my words and accusing me of the lie in an insulting manner and asking me that I owe the employee an apology. I told her your judgment is not valid and if the store is not making any pizzas after 1:30pm, then he never should've selling me the lunch buffet. She told me there is no money refund and no more pizza is coming. Since this argument was not resolving and realizing that both the manger and the employee were teamed up against me, I Decided to call 911 officer. As I was waiting for the officer to show up for about close to 10 minutes, I realized two different types of fresh pizza were delivered to the table in about 2:10 before the officer shows up. after the issues were shared with the officer, the manager claimed that both of those two pizzas were on the table since 1:30 and called me a lier. Officer did his share of duty and asked me to grab some pizzas of not my favorite taste before I left the store.
The question is that why the employee sold me the lunch buffet while they claimed they stoped serving at 1:30pm specially charging me for only two slices left on the table? Second of all, isn't that what everyone say that "the customer is always right" but I got nothing but insults and accusations of lies from both the manager and the employee. Third is how those two new pizzas delivered on the table around 2:10 pm just before the office shows up and the manager tells the officer the the pizzas were there since 1:30. I urge the round table look into this and check even the cameras by your authorities for the timing and other facts before these things happen again to others and your store start losing customers. I am very honest about my reported here. I have decided not to go back to this store location ever again. I would appreciate to hear back from you about what actions your store is taking about this matter. Thank you.
Best,
Nader Taheri
