Everything set aside. These are my complaints about the adjustor. When my 1st IME exam was schexuled I was sent a letter that shoeex if I brought someone with me they would have too wait outside. (ill attach letter on here). I called the claims adj, I let him know that I would not go unless I can bring a witness. He calls me back, leaves me a clear voicemail that “ due too covid” we cannot have a witness. Which is my right.. I called the WCD, was told that my witness could Skype ZOOM with me while I was there. So I though perfect. I went too my IME appointment. I let them know right away I had my bf only on skype with me. Exam Works rmployee started too grt really rude. Asked me who did I get this approved from. They wrte goign too call eomeone else, etc. I waited all together an hour there. The Exam Works employee finally says too me” well you cant do that”. Either I do my exam or I rescheduled. So I said id reschedule it. I called the claims adjustor and his response too me was he had heard the exam got “ cancelled”. I made it clear too him that he didnt tell me the truth. He led me down the wrong path. And dragged out my claim even further. 2nd thing. I was told by my employer when I speak too the adjustor he would be able too refer me too a place too get care. So I waited a week too speak too him. After the recorded statement. His comment too me was, I could get care anywhere I wanted too or google occupational health. In same stated I understand the Insurance compang cant make you go too one of their drs. But if a injured worker seeks help, the insurance maybe should be so rude about it. I was warned Sedgwick is cruel, but I though id be the lucky one. He was completely cold hearted.
Desired outcome: Give me another claims adjustor. If its not too late.What does the company suggest ?
