Power Home Remodeling - Faulty windows. Nineteen in all.

Have called pre covid. Finally picked up phone and said 12 month wait. Have called numerous times after 12 months and got run-a-round. Last call no answer.
Windows were installed two different times because of cost.
First pre 2021. Project number 30-00086.
Second installed 3/29/22. Project number [protected].
Windows have numerous faults and blemishes in the finish. Some worse than others. Company sent a tech out they varifted the problems and agreed. He said he forwarded the information to main office.

Desired outcome: Just replace 19 windows. I paid in full with life time guarentee,

Power Home Remodeling - Poor customer service

Today is december 3, 2021, and our windows still haven't been installed. October 26th was our initial window install date. We took off work and moved furniture from the windows in each room in preparation for the install. That was a wasted day of leave. When I called phr the first time the person apologized and suggested we move our furniture back until all of the windows arrive (really!). I thought his suggestion was insensitive. He did not know the effort it took to move furniture so the installers would have space to work. Moving the furniture back would be even more of an inconvenience. Here were our choices:

1. Move the furniture back and have to move it again when the installers arrive (triple work and inconvenience) or,
2. Leave the furniture in the dining room and other areas in the house until after the install which at this point may be after christmas or the new year (inconvenience).

We were given two separate arrival dates and there were shipping delays for both dates. We have been extremely patient and understanding about the delays, but it is getting frustrating. Today, I called phr [protected]) and spoke to a person and then transferred to I believe the installation department. The person initially was professional and polite but once I expressed my displeasure, he became condescending, tried to interrupt me while I was talking and would not take ownership with the delay. He blamed shipping and said he has no control over that. As a customer, sales, shipping, installation and professionalism are part of the phr package and should be of most importance to the company but obviously he didn't think so. Due to my inconvenience, I asked for compensation (a discount or something!) so this horrible experience would be tolerable. That's when my experience became ever worse. He said he couldn't do anything about compensation in a real dismissive way. Then he said to me twice, "what do you want me to do? You haven't even paid for the windows". Wait what?! I signed a contract so regardless of whether I made my first payment or not I am still locked into this contract which I have to pay. So let me get this straight, the customer is inconvenienced and there is nothing that can be done?

My wife then told the person that she took off twice from work for the install. I heard him say to my wife, "well no one told you to take off and you are not getting compensated for that if that's where you are going." at that time I took the phone from my wife and told him that he is unprofessional and not to talk to my wife like that. I asked for his name. He said his name was patrick. I don't know if that is true though. I was already frustrated about the experience and inconvenience, but I became even more angry with "patrick's" unprofessionalism towards me and my wife. "patrick" began interrupting me as I was expressing my displeasure with his condescending and disrespectful attitude. He then apologized that we felt he was being condescending and disrespectful (key word "we felt"). At that point I couldn't continue communicating with a person that I felt didn't care about his customers, so I hung up the phone.

Now our new date of shipping is december 13th. At this rate it will be 2022 and we still will not have our windows installed. This experience with power home remodeling at best has been disappointing, regretful, and inexcusable.

My question to you is what ever happened to old school company norms and values with customers. I remember when businesses would compensate customers for bad experiences. I am not demanding anything. I'm only asking what I feel is fair and reasonable. They are only concerned with you signing the contract instead of a satisfied customer.

Desired outcome: Reasonable Compensation for Inconvenience

Totally agree as we have had constant issues with them & their windows. We had them install & replace their windows repeatedly for 10 yrs. Some were replaced 2 & 3 times! We have gotten so many different excuses & stories when dealing with their people. This time we had to have over 15 windows replaced & have waited for a year for this last replacement only to have 4 replaced! They are the worst company to deal with. That can be confirmed by many who had the unfortunate experience in dealing with them, having their inferior products installed & upon reading the numerous negative reviews.

Power Home Remodeling - Sales in window department

We had made an appointment to get a window replacement estimate. The estimate was to take 1 to 1.5 hours. The presentation of the company took almost that long before he even measured the windows. 7+ hours later the guy was still here! My child and my fur babies were starving at 9 p.m., so I began making dinner. I ended up serving the sales rep dinner with my family. I do not mind feeding anyone but I had hoped he would finally leave after that so we could go to bed. We had family coming in from out of state and so much to do. Additionally, my husband normally only has 1 day off a week and it had been a long time since he had 2 consecutive days off work. This guy took up my husbands entire evening off not taking "we will decide in two weeks" as an answer. The pressure sales of "today you can save 7k if you sign before I leave" should be illegal. These companies should be better regulated. It should not be this hard to get new windows. There should be one price! This line of sales is harassing and bullying in a passive aggressive way and should be illegal. I would never sign on with a company who tries to manipulate me into buying their product. I would love to be compensated for the time we will never get back! Like $25 per person (my husband, daughter and myself) per hour we had to endure the attempted manipulation of this company. I do not ever want this company nor it's representatives on my property again!

Desired outcome: $525 compensation and restraining order
