On Sunday 6/4/23 I stopped into the jack williams in Dallas, PA for a tire rotation and oil change and was told it would be finished around 4. Returned at 4 to find out my tire rotation was complete, but they couldn't do my oil change because whoever did my last oil change messed up my plug... THEY PERFORMED MY LAST OIL CHANGE!. After the guy behind the counter verified that he told me he didn't have to tools to get it off so I would have to come back during the week. Tuesday 6/6 the truck was returned to jack williams to provide the service. That afternoon I was called and told the manager Jesse did know how to fix it, but didn't have the tools with him that day so I would need to come back.. Thursday 6/8 returned the truck to jack williams and received a phone call very early saying ok it's all done. PERFECT. No. When I went to leave for work Friday 6/9 I noticed some oil under the truck. When I got to work I asked one of our mechanics if he could do me a favor and take a look at it for me. He agreed and after 2 seconds under my truck he told me to hand him my phone because he had to take a picture. In the process of removing the plug they caved in the front of the oil pan so the plug no longer sits flush causing the leak. With his advice I called Jesse immediately to voice my displeasure. While I was standing there next to the 20 year diesel mechanic Jesse told me the oil pan was "designed like that" but I could drop it off to have them check again. Saturday 6/10 the truck was taken back to jack williams until I received a voicemail from a Matt telling me there is no leak and it's fine to take on a 3,000 mile road trip starting this weekend. I called them back telling them it is not fine, it is not designed that way and needs to be replaced. When I went to pick the truck up I once again voiced my displeasure to which Jesse agreed it was not designed that way and needed to be replaced, but that decision needed to come from the District Manager. As of today Monday 6/12 i have received no phone calls from anyone to discuss the next steps.
Desired outcome: I want the oil pan replaced and i want it replaced at a Ram dealership so the warranty is not affected.
