McDonald's - service

I spent $23.79 for breakfast with the family. We go here all the time. We asked for extra syrup for the hotcakes, we were told "no" -- BY THE MANAGER -- who was working putting orders on trays. I said: "We just spent this much money and you can't give me two extra syrups?" He said "no" again, turned his back, and said: "Have a nice day." I said the same thing, again, louder. He turned around and said: "I WILL now give them to you, but I will charge you for them." I walked away.

People came up to me and shared that they were disgusted, especially with my family there. People I did not even know. My son's hockey coach was there, he started telling everybody who came in about the incident. As I think of it, I will tell everyone about it at the West Chester Chamber of Commerce meeting this week -- 140 in front of businesses.

What a disgrace. Before I looked at advising them on their website, I went back and looked at last month's Discover charges, for our McDonald's spending each month. WE SPEND OVER $120.00 A MONTH AT THEIR RESTAURANTS. They could not give us 25 or 30 cents worth of extra syrup? Should I broadcast this on all the other web sites?

Disgrace...AND IT WAS THE MANAGER! Do the staff take their lead from him? Service?

They have to do better to regain my trust and loyality.

I went to McDonald's In Glasgow the week before Christams with my family, I ordered a vegie dely due to being a vegy for the last 30 years. When biting into the deli I noticed their was no vigie but infact meat. After being sick I complained to the manager who offered another burger. i refused and emailed customer service and advised rather than give me a voucher for violating my human rights and causing me disrtess I wanted them to donate money to a charity of my choice as compinsation.

Today they send out a £10 voucher to spend on burgers in their store.

I called to complain and their response and i Quote from Joe Cuffaro "We dont give to charity and the vouchers stand. If i want to donate that to charity I can"

I advised him that this was a violation of my human rights and I would take legal action he basicly told me he did not care and for them the matter was closed.

Companies like these only care about profit and not the customer they should not get away with this. If they spent more on training staff than changing uniform designs every few months their staff may one day get an order right.

Mcdonlad’s customer service
[protected] @ 10:30am
Ever since the Mcdonald’s renovations last week at Bayly in Ajax, I feel that, their service have taken a s step backwards. Food is not warm enough, waiting time has increased and everyone behind the counter seems to be much disorganized.
There are more staff members to serve but the direction seems to be off. Managers occasionally pop their head out to monitor the unsatisfied faces of the crowd which consistently complaining about missing items or wait times for their food delivery.
Mcdonald’s have done well to bring back the people which were lost from other competitor’s fight for the market share but if they fail to provide adequate service may decrease such advantage and lose those returned customers for good.
I hope it doesn’t happen as I love the convenience of fast food experience, especially Mcdonald’s.

You're going to be the joke of the West Chester Chamber of Commerce if you waste everyone's valuable networking time away from their own businesses squealing about not wanting to pay for something that costs the company money. You do realize Chambers of Commerce are made up almost entirely of business people?

Civic organizations exist to benefit their communities. The ones who are successful at that do not operate like middle school cliques where you can call for mass boycotts over 25 cent butt-hurts instead of talking it out like grownups.

And if you bothered to check your chamber's membership directory, I will bet you $1, 000 that this McDonald's, like most of the franchises, is a paid member. McDonald's and other large corporations like to be community partners and this is one way that benefits both sides.

If you want to draw childish little battle lines because your butt wasn't kissed for your $120 per month, you're going to find most sensible, mature people on the side of McDonald's.

But please do come back here and tell us how it goes! We could use the laugh.

YOU SPEND OVER $120.00 A MONTH AT THEIR RESTAURANTS and are too cheap to pay for 25 or 30 cents worth of extra syrup?
You are a cheapskate and have broadcast this on this web site.

The thought of spending $120/month on fast food makes my blood crawl. I agree with pobar, you sound like a typical customer that doesn't understand how general services operate.

$23 for breakfast for a family is not a lot of money. Who are you kidding? Syrup isn't free and you SHOULD pay for it. They give you some with your purchase and if that is not sufficient you should be charged.

Also, how rude to say your same statement louder when someone already tells you "no." You sound like an entitled ###. $120 per month? Lay off the McDonalds.

PS: Buy your own damned syrup.

Perhaps she couldn't understand your grammar over the loudspeaker and needed you to pull up to the window so she could understand you better. That's not hateful, that is her trying to get your order right. I'm more concerned about your 1 year old grandson whos grandmother went "threw" the "drive threw".
