Hello, on April 7, 2021, around 6:30pm, I went to Nordstrom rack Warwick RI store to browse. The store was very quiet and I was looking around for about 30 minutes when a man named Brian who said he was the store manager approached me for not wearing a mask. I politely explained that I had a medical condition with documentation that makes me exempt from wearing a mask. I also explained that I carry a copy of state of RI executive order from governor that no place of business should deny anyone entry to any business for not wearing a mask. He was extremely rude and treated me horribly. I had about 5 items I wanted to purchase but he refused to help me and basically threw me out of the store. Needless to say, I have been a very good customer of Nordstrom and Nordstrom rack for the past 20 years but I do not want to shop in that store ever again. I will be sending out an attorney’s letter to address this infringement on my ADA exemption. I will also be reporting this to FTBA for further action.

Sounds like you are just a troublemaker, jld2205@gmail.com. Times have changed since Covid reared its ugly head and there are stricter rules & regulations being enforced. The manager was just doing his job. If you have a medical condition, why even go into the store; shop online like the majority of people are doing.. Sounds like you just went there looking for a fight. I have had issues with Nordstrom in the past, but to be honest, you just sound like you had an ax to grind and Nordstrom was the unlucky target.
This is blatant discrimination against all customers, masks have never been proven to protect from a micro sized virus. They also can be harmful to our health. I see some lawsuits around the corner. How dare this arrogant company say they value inclusivity, yet bar certain customers from entering their stores. A bunch of hypocrites IMO.
