Nordstrom My daughter and I went to the pre-sale at Nordstrom

My daughter and I went to the pre-sale at Nordstrom Bellevue last night and it was busy and chaotic. We shopped in several departments, one being shoes. We were just looking for workout shoes for my daughter when we met Tyler, a very friendly, charismatic young salesclerk. He showed my daughter several pairs of workout shoes and several heels. It was towards closing time and Tyler was still helpful and bringing items out. He gave good product knowledge and also offered us water, so nice after a long hot day. It was a refreshing experience, he cared about our needs and gave us many choices. We ended up buying two pair of workout shoes, 1 pair heels, and a non sale pair of flip-flops. Wow four pairs of shoes and we may go back for boots. Tyler made the difference and was very patient! If you go into Nordstrom for shoes visit Tyler you won't be disappointed!

Nordstrom Fantastic company with incredible customer service

I can't rave enough about how well Nordstrom treats its customers. I sadly recently did business with an incredibly deceptive company called SkinStore because I fell for a promotion. Biggest mistake I've ever made online shopping.

Nordstrom backs up everything they sell, and if you can wait, eventually offers the same promotions as a lot of these back alley companies like SkinStore(aka TheHut.com Limited)

When buying cosmetics, for a number of reasons, including the possibility that products a lot of these sham stores sell may be counterfeits and dangerous, it really is best to stick with an established company you know you can trust.

Your health is more valuable than a 20% discount, and you deserve to be treated better than companies like the SkinStore with deceptive return policies and who have no value for their customers.

Thanks, Nordstrom, I appreciated you before but so much more now!

Nordstrom Great customer service, returns, great sales, and great cafe in store

Great customer service, returns, great sales, and great cafe in store.
Also I LOVE the free perfume samples, love them!

I've been burned so much by shopping online, but if you shop the sales at Nordstrom, or the actual full-price items, you can verify the quality and fit. I've never had a problem with their clothes---just buying too much of it.

Ive even bought work pants onsale or at the Nordstrom Rack, brought them into the fitting room, and the seamstress they provide will pin them depending on what shoes I plan to wear with them, and hem them for free or under $20, depending on where I bought them.

Sale items can be nearly as cheap as shopping online at a cut-rate place, BUT these actually FIT and look NICE. Plus, I can go get free perfume samples or try on makeup, or hangout in their Cafe--get the goat-cheese salad! And their coffee is great.

Also love their jewelry and perfume, which the husband gets me for Valentines. I feel more like it won't be a counterfeit.

Nordstrom I cannot recommend another company more

I cannot recommend another company more. Nordstrom has the best customer service ever. It's late and you wanted that color/size but it suddenly went out of stock? Try their online chat (they're up until 1amish I think) and you'll find the sweetest, most helpful people who will search stores for what you're looking for or recommend you alternatives. I've talked to them a few times because if there's one thing that I don't like about them, it's that they tend to stock items rarely and if it goes out of stock, it will FAST and for months. They also don't have coupons, only discounts but the quality of things they carry and the customer service more than makes up. They have reliable free shipping and free returns. They have a good return policy! (It's almost "none" but I hate the abuse of stores like this because there is no Nordstrom near me and I pretty much have to order online and go by reviews).
I also have to recommend them for sometimes unique items that aren't available elsewhere (scarves, jewelry, etc).

Nordstrom A great store

It is so nice to have a great store, with great customer service and products-always reliable.
I discovered Nordstroms when we were given a gift from a store in another state.
We did not have a Nordstroms in our state at that time.
So, the box, with never worn, still tagged clothes, sat on a shelf, and 5 years later, a Nordstrms came to town.
I had heard about their return policy, so, I thought it never hurts to ask.
And, they took the clothes back!
My next great experience was shopping for shoes-I was trying some Jimmy Choos-very expensive.
I loved them, but they were a bit snug.
I asked the salesman (who knew me by now) about having them stretched.
He said he would NOT like to sell me a pair of shoes, at that price, that needed to be stretched.
My next experience that "sealed the deal" was when shopping for a wedding dress with my now-daughter-in-law in the DC area.
The salesperson made it an entirely stress-free experience, unlike the 10 other shops we had visited.
And, the dress we loved turned out to be $400, not $4,000 or $14,000!
Wow-need I say more?

Nordstrom Blessed day at Nordsrom (Fashion Place)

In the middle of October of this year I was diagnosed with two brain tumors and Stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. It was quite a surprise to me because I was in perfect health and have never smoked.

Despite my catastrophic diagnosis, there have been many blessings that have enriched my life and have allowed me to battle this illness. One of the blessings is that I had two major brain surgeries (one in Ohio and one in Utah) and can still walk, talk and write this review.

Early on, I realized that a positive attitude was absolutely necessary for me to be able to fight this battle. So I decided to contact Nordstrom's to see if they could help me to select some comfortable clothing to lift my spirits while I am going through treatments for my cancer.

They introduced me to Kalissa Maynard, a personal stylist, who was absolutely wonderful in helping to select clothes that were not only comfortable, but that also helped me to feel positive and good about myself as I prepared for the difficult treatments. I was so blessed to have met Kalissa, and really appreciated her help and kindness.

Also, to my surprise, Kalissa informed me that the Nordstrom's manager (Megan Becker), wanted to treat me and my family to a complimentary lunch at Cafe Bistro. I can't thank Nordstrom's, Kalissa, and Megan enough for their professionalism and kindness.

Nordstrom Got it! - Kudos to Earl in Nordstroms Chicago Mens Dept for an above and beyond service experience

Got to Chicago without my baggage (delayed by airline) and went to Nordstroms in Chicago to restock basics.

Met Earl in Men's department, who was welcoming and service oriented in a non-intrusive manner. When he learned about my problem, he took time to guide me through to all the items I needed, and he made a point out of understanding and meeting my special taste in the individual categories of clothing. I ended up with everything I needed, confident that I could make it until my suitcase would arrive. Good, caring service.

Now, here's the thing about Earl and Nordstrom that made me write this review:

Our daughter has her confirmation coming up next year, and she started planning and picking her outfit for that a long time ago, not an easy thing for a teen (or her parents). And there is this particular skirt, which she found half a year ago, and which is no longer available in Europe where we live, but she found it on Nordstroms.com and when she learned that I was going to Chicago. I promised to go and get it for her.

So, when I was in the Chicago Nordstrom store, I asked Earl if it was possible for him to order the skirt to the Chicago store, so I could bring it home for my daughter. Earl looked it up, and as it turns out, it was not available in her size in Chicago, but ?maybe there was one in transit to Seattle'. Anyway, Earl figured out that he could order the skirt to be delivered to the Chicago store for me to pick it up, and he then helps me by putting an order into Nordstrom's system. All good, super service. I am a happy camper.

Then it turns out that the skirt, after all, is not available, and the order has to be cancelled. Earl takes immediate action, finds another, similar skirt in the right size, pulls it to the Chicago store, and leaves a message for me at the hotel front desk and on my cell that the skirt is there and that I am welcome to come and pick it up.

I just went over and got it, and sent a picture of the skirt back to my daughter. This is her response:

This is big time H A P P Y in teen txt lingo, she thinks I am the best dad for doing this.
And she thinks that because Earl cared about me fulfilling my promise to my daughter - and went above and beyond to make sure I could keep that promise.

Nordstrom advertising

Text message this a.m. on "Celebrating Pride" LGBTQIA. I truly do not care if you are black, brown, yellow, red, man, woman, transgender, whatever. Why is it necessary to celebrate only one of the above humans' groups?

We are all humans and if you and other merchants, sports organizations, cities, towns, counties, states, whatever, continue on this course then I expect to see similar celebrations for every group whatever they call themselves. I do not feel I am being ignored but if you want to be fair and equal you can only back up your beliefs by supporting all humans - one celebration covering all or one celebration for each and every group.

It is groups such as yours that continue to flame the fires between humans by "celebrating" only the groups that threaten your future success.

Hello My order number from Nordstorm is [protected] I ordered around a 5,500 Aed order Recently i’ve been receiving extra charges Todsy i received a 1200 Aed and yesterday a 400 Aed charge? this totals to around 380 dollars in extras please let me know what’s happening i ordered 6 of april and i’m getting charged on the 12 of april for extra? Nordstrom E commerce order

I bought my weeding dress from Nordstrom.. I wanted a reception dress too, I purchased one online at Nordstrom.com.. first dress purchased end of January.. received email beginning of February order delayed, then a few days later order canceled..

Bought another formal dress online thinking it's a one time event.. ordered a similar dress online (these formal dresses not carried instore near me)! Received an oder delayed email, so I called to see if this order was going to be canceled? The representative assured me they had plenty of dresses in my size in stock and I would receive my order..

My son went into the Hospital on March 3rd and passed away on March 10, 39 years old..

I look today as I still haven't received my order and I find an email from 3/3 stating my 2nd order was canceled!

Customer service does nothing as I Explain my problems and no assistance or reason why I am able to purchase online when the product IS NOT AVAILABLE!

My son died, I don't want to shop anymore!

I've PURCHASED not 1 but 2 dresses!

Worst Service Ever from such an Established Retailer!

Devastated by this!

Desired outcome: Purchase online and actually receive my item.. don't display formal dresses that are not available.. these dresses need to be received, fitted and completed by a certain date!! These delays are rude and unnecessary!!

Nordstrom E-commerce

I was called by one of your staff regarding e commerce, initially nothing was explained to me in detail about the platform however I was told I could get commission on products so I went ahead and invested a small amount of my own money which was around £1000 after completing certain amount of tasks I was told I would earn a higher commission rate if I was to add more funds, I managed to get some more funds from my savings and then completed tasks but this time my money was tied up and I had to deposit yet again more money on the platform.. I then borrowed money off my friends and now the e commerce platform has tied £5600 of my money and has left me with nothing to survive on also in debt with others as I borrowed the funds. I would like this money back please.

Nordstrom Bad service/Discrimination

I was at the Nordstrom South Coast plaza at 10:15am this morning. There were maybe 2 customers at the shoe dept. I was looking at shoes and there were two sales guys chatting with each other nearby not offering help. Then I saw them offering to help American customers. I left and watched nearby, there was another Asian lady around and they ignored her too.

This is disheartening as I am s loyal Nordstrom customer and it just ruins the whole shopping experience for me. I was going to try on some shoes but I felt that I could get better service elsewhere.

This is not the first time I experienced this. I always go early when it’s not crowded but staff seems to enjoy chatting with each other rather than serving customers.

Nordstrom Gift visa card

My Visa gift card was used and after an hour of trying to use it, I was later informed that my visa gift card cannot be used online. The problem is my funds were never returned. So I asked for an adjusted or refunded amount of the $50 that I lost, to no avail. I have a long history with Nordstrom and after spending 1 hour with the first representative Ricardo, 3 days later 20 minutes with Juan and later another hour with Eduardo, nothing was accomplished.
I never expected to shop with my Christmas gift cards to have an outcome of losing $50.

Nordstrom Lack of christmas decor

I would like to say that I have always enjoyed shopping at Nordstrom King of Prussia during the Christmas season Yes, I did say Christmas. I have noticed that there is minimal decorations and certainly nothing that is related to Christmas, only a few green trees one would see in a mountain home. I am hoping this quickly changes since 98 percent of your customers spend thousands of dollars at your store celebrating the Christmas holiday. Please do a better job next year! Thank you.

Nordstrom Service in shoe department Nordstrom Arcadia, Ca

I sat in the shoe department at Nordstrom arcadia tonight 9/2/22 from 515 pm until 545 pm and no one offered to help me. I am disabled and old. I was sitting near thr store exit downstairs shoes near the cash register with one to two women standing there most of the time. I wanted to buy a pair of birkinstocks but never did, never got helped! This isn't the first time either! Disgusting!

Nordstrom Poor quality of jewelry

On5/27/2022 i purchased 2 pairs of earrings on line. they are already tarnished after having worn them about 3 times. Since the legal return period has expired I am requesting either an account credit or a refund for the defective merchandise. the order number is [protected]. Customer service advised me that there was nothing that they could do to compensate me for defective merchandise and that I had lost my money. this is a follow up to my dispute since I have not received a response from the Corporate office.

Nordstrom The staff in the women's department on the second floor at Christiana Mall in Delaware

have been shopping at Nordstrom stores for many years. It is actually one of my favorite stores. I am a Nordy customer. Last year, I was so pleased with the service I received in the shoe department that I wrote letters acknowledging the excellent service I received while in the store. But yesterday was a completely different story, it was a nightmare. On July 23, I did some online shopping. I had a great time shopping. I spent a good amount of money. Then, I went to the women's department. I saw a few items I liked and decided it would be best to go into the store and try them on. So the next day, yesterday around 11:00 am I entered the Nordstrom at Christiana Mall in Newark Delaware. Before I could get completely off the elevator, a middle-aged white woman asked me, if there was anything she could help me with. I smiled and said, "No thank you?" I picked up one dress and there she was again asking me another question, I don't remember what the question was but within the next three minutes, she asked me at least three more questions. I became slightly annoyed and I walked over to the other side of the store. I think I walked about two cashiers away where I was greeted by a young black woman. She asked me if there was anything I needed help with? I smiled and said, no. Then she asked me if I wanted her to hold my clothes for me, I said no, I'm going to try these on in a second. If I thought the middle-aged woman was bad, I was in for a real treat. The black woman hit me with a barrage of questions. My retail therapy experience was beginning to turn into a nightmare. I went back to the other side of the store and there was the middle-aged white woman again asking more questions. I don't know what she said, I completely tuned her out. Moments later, I mean moments later the young black woman had left her post and was near the middle-aged white woman asking more questions. I was bombarded with questions. I was on the floor maybe ten minutes before I had to just stop and try on the dresses before I lost my mind. I went into the dressing room and as I reached for the bottom of my shirt, there was a knock on the door, 6 taps to be exact, not even thirty seconds after I walked into the room. I was sure it was for someone else, and then I heard those six taps again. I opened the door and there was the young black woman again. She asked, " Is everything ok? Do you need any help?" I said to her in an exasperated voice, "No" I just want to relax, please just leave me alone so that I can relax. She said, I just wanted to see if you needed any help with a slight grin on her face. I thought to myself that she was trying to get an ugly reaction out of me by tap dancing on my last nerve. I refused to give it to her. I maintained my composure, tried on the dresses, as exited the dressing room and there she was again just waiting for me. Can I help you? Do you want me to take that up for you? Do you want me to ring you up? Without even looking at her I shouted "No". Then I quickly walked over to the register and was greeted by a young white woman with whom I was glad to make my purchase. Of course, the young black girl was there again. It was torture. I bought the dress, but I will be returning it today. I am writing this letter to make you aware of the unacceptable behaviors practiced in the women's department. Many people don't take the time to make you aware of the problems they encounter, they just shop elsewhere. The retraining of these staff members, managers included may increase sales. At any rate, I don't think I should pay for the way I was treated. I did ask the young white woman what her name was and she said it was Michelle. Michelle behaved like a professional. There is no reason for her to be grouped together with them. Michelle brought a ray of excellence and class to the women's department. I do not like to write negative letters about people so I make it a point to send nice letters as I have done in the past, but I couldn't let this one go, I'm still annoyed. My suggestion would definitely entail re-training and a severe reprimand. Nordstrom has a reputation that should not be tarnished by the behavior of these two women.

They should be honored to work in such a fine establishment. Their conduct was unacceptable and not becoming of Nordstrom employees. We are still fighting a pandemic and very few people are coming into stores. Those of us who brave our ways into the stores should be treated with the utmost respect.

I have been shopping at Nordstrom stores for many years. It is actually one of my favorite stores. I am a Nordy customer. Before I could get completely off the elevator, a middle-aged white woman asked me, if there was anything she could help me with. I smiled and said, "No thank you?" I picked up one dress and there she was again asking me another question, I don't remember what the question was but within the next three minutes, she asked me at least three more questions. I became slightly annoyed and I walked over to the other side of the store. I think I walked about two cashiers away where I was greeted by a young black woman. She asked me if there was anything I needed help with? I smiled and said, no. Then she asked me if I wanted her to hold my clothes for me, I said no, I'm going to try these on in a second. If I thought the middle-aged woman was bad, I was in for a real treat. The black woman hit me with a barrage of questions. My retail therapy experience was beginning to turn into a nightmare. I went back to the other side of the store and there was the middle-aged white woman again asking more questions. I don't know what she said, I completely tuned her out. Moments later, I mean moments later the young black woman had left her post and was near the middle-aged white woman asking more questions. I was bombarded with questions. I was on the floor maybe ten minutes before I had to just stop and try on the dresses before I lost my mind. I went into the dressing room and as I reached for the bottom of my shirt, there was a knock on the door, 6 taps to be exact, not even thirty seconds after I walked into the room. I was sure it was for someone else, and then I heard those six taps again. I opened the door and there was the young black woman again. She asked, " Is everything ok? Do you need any help?" I said to her in an exasperated voice, "No" I just want to relax, please just leave me alone so that I can relax. She said, I just wanted to see if you needed any help with a slight grin on her face. I thought to myself that she was trying to get an ugly reaction out of me by tap dancing on my last nerve. I refused to give it to her. I maintained my composure, tried on the dresses, as exited the dressing room and there she was again just waiting for me. Can I help you? Do you want me to take that up for you? Do you want me to ring you up? Without even looking at her I shouted "No". Then I quickly walked over to the register and was greeted by a young white woman with whom I was glad to make my purchase. Of course, the young black girl was there again. It was torture. I bought the dress, but I will be returning it today. I am writing this letter to make you aware of the unacceptable behaviors practiced in the women's department. Many people don't take the time to make you aware of the problems they encounter, they just shop elsewhere. The retraining of these staff members, managers included may increase sales. At any rate, I don't think I should pay for the way I was treated. I did ask the young white woman what her name was and she said it was Michelle. Michelle behaved like a professional. There is no reason for her to be grouped together with them. Michelle brought a ray of excellence and class to the women's department. I do not like to write negative letters about people so I make it a point to send nice letters as I have done in the past, but I couldn't let this one go, I'm still annoyed. My suggestion would definitely entail re-training and a severe reprimand. Nordstrom has a reputation that should not be tarnished by the behavior of these two women.

They should be honored to work in such a fine establishment. Their conduct was unacceptable and not becoming of Nordstrom employees. We are still fighting a pandemic and very few people are coming into stores. Those of us who brave our ways into the stores should be treated with the utmost respect.

Desired outcome: Severe reprimand and retraining of employees. I'd appreciate a response.

Nordstrom Corporate vp asset protection leader

Nordstrom’s new VP of asset protection eliminated many seasoned company AP leaders and replaced w/prev old white work mates (many of which, were out of work). Professional nepotism & unfounded / highly litigious removal of leaders from their positions without cause. Hearing many terms being thrown around such as, “unions” & “class action lawsuit”.

Desired outcome: listen to employees (current & past) and take appropriate action. Shrinkage is at a historical high and moral is at an all time low. exercise their founding principals. I have interviewed over 50 AP employees over the past year. Good luck!

Nordstrom Sent wrong shoe size and customer service refused to initiate an exchange

I ordered an 11b and received a 10b, contacted customer service and provided order number, email and address, he verified everything was correct. He proceeded to tell me he would need to email a permission code to access my account for the exchange. WTH how archaic is this?!

I waited twenty minutes for permission email, he resent 3 times and it never came. I escalated call to supervisor and she was worse than he was telling me they couldn't bypass the system. Now I am inconvenienced having to return the shoes to the store because of their ERROR.

My family and I will NEVER order from Nordstrom.com again. The service has gone to trash!

Nordstrom Won't refund for merchandise they don't have proof was actually delivered.

Merchandise not delivered but Nordstrom wouldn't issue for refund. Butvthey couldn't provide proof that it was, indeed, delivered and received.

Here's the exchange I had with them in 4 weeks...they believe whatever Ontrac delivery driver says without using logic at all. I reordered exact items as the lost merchandise, they're bags for my daughters.

Here's my last message to them.

Thank you for trying but I haven't seen a US company worse than you. Now, let's go forward and show me the proof it was, indeed, delivered and accepted. Please don't give me another run around! I, need proof my house had/received it. You have to prove me wrong.

Delivery company versus customer, you stay one sided? Who's telling the truth? Now, let's go legal. Show me the photo of the package infront of my door or a signature someone in my house accepted it. Without it, you're not going to win in court so please handle this well and right. If you can't, we're talking civil lawsuit and bad online reputation.

Other companies,  like Amazon, could show photo of package or refund. So you 100% believe verbal word from your delivery partner and not your customers a bit. Did you see I spent another $2,000 with some items exactly the same. It's not even worth it, it's principle.

Nordstrom not delivered product $837 usd: brunello cucinelli monili platform chelsea boot (women) lamb, size 8.5us / 38.5eu

Last month of March I paid for a pair of Brunello Cucinelli boots and the parcel service hired by Nordstrom did not deliver properly. I mentioned in the purchase the address of a specific appartment and I never received it. If they delivered to the lobby that is not a proper delivery and NORDSTROM said they are not liable. Date shipped: 03/23/2022 and suppose delivery the next day. OnTrac Tracking: C11753402608129

THAT IS THE CORRECT ADDRESS: PRODUCT NEVER DELIVERED THERE.

Nordstrom Nordstrom hostile work environment

I would like to make a complaint as anonymously as possible...
I have in the past went to management but was told their was nothing they could do and as soon as they turn there back they will just continue the bad behavior and told just not to react also remarks / threats were made to me regarding my employment when I went to Nordstrom management to get help,
Now I am terrified to say anything more but,
There has been ALOT of gossip bad behavior bulling, fighting, and racial slurrs made to other employees and about me that I can hear so can the customers that have also complained to no avail.
It was to be getting worse out of control rude racial and sexist statement s and out and out yelling argument were one employee was calling racial slurs and I've also been the victim of racial statements and bullied continually.
I work at Ramm Baar Nordstrom San Jose Vally Fair Mall Location.
I am a new hire employee and am extremely disappointed that I've been treated this way as I have showed up every day to do the most professional best job possible with nothing but bulling, racism and threats against my job almost daily.
I hope you can help me get this message to the right person!?
Others have complained to management also but they seem to just retaliate against the victim.., never really dealing with the issue at hand due to favoritism by management.
It's extremely disturbing and I would hate for this situation to keep escalating as it has been the past couple weeks.

Hello ! I’m so sorry to hear that this is happening to you! I’m a Nordstrom employee in California and have been on and off since 2001. I want you to know that Nordstrom does not tolerate these behaviors and offers us ways to deal with these types of situations you are describing involving harassment claims. You should have been made to complete the harassment training as a part of your onboarding which will immediately give you the tools you need to enjoy what an amazing experience working there truly is! It is your responsibility to speak up and report these uncomfortable situations to the proper channels that are given to you without the fear of retaliation. Working in this type of retail environment can be exciting and challenging. You’ll be most successful when you are able to stay on top of the challenges you’ll face along the way. Every challenge will not always be won but every challenge will give you better understanding of the next time your faced with a challenge of the same kind from which you’ll surely be prepared to win. If you use your best judgement you will be rewarded with assurance. I hope this helps you and anyone else experiencing this type of behavior in the work environment.

Nordstrom Customer service

On November 3, 2021 I placed an online order with Nordstroms. Since I had moved recently, I doublechecked that my new address was on the order. It was. In about a week, I received an email telling me the order had been delivered. It was not delivered to my new address so I called customer service expecting them to retrieve my order. Instead I received an email stating, "...we have confirmed successful delivery of the package. Nordstroms has made the decision not to issue a refund or replacement as was requested. It is our recommendation that you contact your local police department..."
It was Nordstrom's mistake that the package was delivered to the wrong address. Since I never received the merchandise, why would I report it as stolen? Since this was my worst ever customer service experience, I know I had to fix it or Nordstroms would expect me to pay for items I never received. I had my realtor find the phone number of the person who lived at my old address. I left a message requesting the package be left at her front door.
I drove there to get it and immediately went to the King of Prussia store and returned the entire order. Then I canceled my credit card. I.am.done.with.Nordstroms.

Desired outcome: I just want to vent about Nordstroms poor treatment of me. Since I canceled the credit card, I have no expectattion of an outcome.

Nordstrom Credit card services

The credit card department provides poor service. I would go with a Neiman Marcus card or Saks. Don't bother with this company.
